If I was at the lower end of healthy BMI I would fall down a grid! I am quite tall and broad so I carry more weight. A BMI of 21.5/22 is where I'm aiming, its 23 at the moment, within the healthy range but I know I'm carrying too much fat around my middle. I did circuits on Saturday for first time in months, it has taken me until today (Thursday) to stop aching!!! Oh my! Managed only an hour power walk and a 20 min cycle since then! Same example with fresh orange juice, contains far more calories than when in its original state and your body works harder to digest the whole fruit, same with potatoes, eat them mashed and your body doesn't have to work as hard to digest! Running is easier outside, even with hills! I've been running outdoors for years and when I try and do a 9 minute mile pace on a treadmill I become exhausted pretty quickly! Its probably realistic that weight loss will slow down from time to time. Perhaps you need to keep eating to fire up your metabolism -sometimes it slows down, becoming more efficient on less calories, so your weight loss will slow down.
