Can you run in the morning at all when it is light out? I'd rather run in the wet and unpleasantness outside than on a treadmill any day, and find I get winded much faster on there than I do outside because it's easier to regulate your speed when you're not trying to keep up with the belt.

Sure - you might even need to eat more than that. I eat that much before exercise and eat back all my exercise calories. Like the other poster said, trial and error!

Ohh, this is me! I still have a bit of weight to lose, but my goals have vastly shifted as I have started lifting and training for various races - suddenly the scale is the last measure of my success.

I usually gain 3-4lbs, but it's gone again a few days after if I drink lots of water, so I just try not to weigh in on those days!

5'9", goal of 160-165, but honestly I'm not sure I'll get that low since I tend to pack on muscle pretty easily. I'm happy with being heavier and muscly though!

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it - you know that there is no way you gained 7 pounds of fat overnight. Stick to good foods and lots of water and it should go away soon.

When I used to work at a gym daycare I would get comments at least once a day about it. I get them less often, but yeah, people comment on it a few times a week (not the same person, of course!). I usually get a comment every time I get ID'd, haha, that will change when I get a new one in January, though!

I do use protein powder, but I also add greek yogurt, chia seeds and peanut butter sometimes to beef it up even more.

This exactly pretty much. I do use whey protein powder, though! Also cheese, mmmmm. And cottage cheese! I try to get over 100g of protein a day and I have better days than others but I hit it most of the time. It's usually when I'm being lazy and not eating enough that I don't - it's not too tough.
