Looking for friends to motivate me to eat clean and low carb. I've lost weight when I eat clean but I struggle with the time/prep involved. I also just found out I'm pre -diabetic so now I'm trying to go low carb. I'm not strict with my eating but I am 100%committed to logging everything.., the good and the bad.

I think about it far too often. More so when others are around but even when I'm alone. I tend to think about how much space I take up, for instance… I'm sitting on a chair in a room all by myself and I think about how much space there is between me and the armrest.

I think you can do it. I have a similar goal and have lost about 16.5 pounds just by changing my eating habits and logging everything. With they jump start I'm willing to try exercise now. Feel free to add me.

The avocado toasty recipe sounds good. I am about 90% bread free but allow myself to have it as a treat once in a while. I'll have to look up that book, sounds right up my ally. I would love to eliminate all sugar but it is really hard.

I snack a lot but the most filling to me is some almonds, hard boiled egg, skinnypop popcorn, guacamole and plantain chips, or some fruit like watermelon or an apple.

Did you like the coconut milk ? I use almond milk but I was thinking of trying coconut milk out, too. I do put ground flaxseed, I'll have to look into hemp seeds.... Do hemp seeds add any kind of flavor?

Lemon or lime are quick and easy. Have you seen True Lemon? It's crystallized flavor packets, no sugar added. They are great to have on hand while out and about. I think its personal choice to monitor sugars in fruits and veggies... naturally occuring sugar doesn't bother me. OR rather, it doesn't strike me as something to monitor at this time.
