I run 3 times a week at the moment but that will change once kids go back to school. I use the cross trainer and use Jillian Michaels fitness DVD. I exercise 6 days a week. I also do between 70 - 150 squats every day. I eat good carbs and I am trying increasing my protein. At the moment I am making sure I eat 3 meals a day…

Bless you it's hard when you see the scale not moving. I have been doing mfp for around 2 months now. I have not lost any weight and at first was very upset about it. I always round down with exercise calories burning just in case. So if I do 40 minutes cross trainer I put 200 calories burnt. I sweat like mad but still input lower calories.

Thanks guys. Weather not warm today, in fact a little chilly.. I had eaten my breakfast of ready break about 2 hrs before the run. I didn't drink anything before the run which was probably stupid. Next time I will eat a small snack 30 minutes before I run and drink water before as well. Thank you for all your helpful…

You can add lemon to water or try flavoured fizzy water. Keep trying as water is the best drink for you. Once you go for a wee…

Thank you one2run. I will just keep trying. I will increase my weight training and stick to running as well. Maybe my body is being stubborn lol. Thanks guys. :-) I will look at your suggestions. I'm 5ft 5" and weigh 131lbs. I have been trying to loose weight but it's not happening. But I have started to loose inches. I was wondering if my weight is fine and to just maintain but to tone up. My arms are 9.5 ", thighs 17.5 ", hips 34" and tummy 29". Does this seem on?…

Buy fresh or frozen vegetables. Brown rice, pasta and bread. Greek yogurt and fruit. Kids eat what you give them. When mine were babies I gave home cooked vegetables and meat puréed. They are not fussy and they do get treats like sweets etc but after they have eaten their main meals. Chicken is good and eggs. Try not to…

Probably best to rest. If your feeling that poorly then listen to your body. If you over do things when your I'll you can make yourself worse and recovery will take longer. Also, if you go to the gym when your I'll you will pass on your germs to other people... Rest and then get back into it when you feel better :-)

I'm not loosing weight either and I am very careful on what I eat and have upped my exercise a lot. I have lost inches and I am feeling better in myself. I agree you need to weigh certain foods and be totally honest on what you are eating. Just take each day as it comes, exercise between 4-5 times a week, drink 2 ltrs of…

I use to struggle with my breathing when running until I started to listen to music whilst I ran. Then I would sing the songs in my head and run to the beat. This helped me so much. Also drink a cup of water 30 minutes before you run so you are hydrated.:-) Hope this helps x

Thanks guys for all your advice. I really appreciate it. I will take on board everything said. I am going to tweak my exercise so my legs get a break and increase my calories if done a lot of exercise in one day. I will also increase protein intake to help with muscle recovery. Thank you again for all your positive feed…
