I gained 60 during my first pregnancy and almost 40 lbs with each subsequent pregnancy (5 total!!). Right now I'm 15 lbs over my pre pregnancy weight of 130-ish. I never had to try to lose before, the baby weight just dissapeared over time. Then I got old. And decided to have one last baby and here I am :)

I try not to be pushy about it because that can rarely be good for the situation. I just try to lead by example. If someone asks me "have you lost weight" I'll tell them about mfp. Occasionally I'll ask people if they want to go bike riding or walking with me. If I ask them 3 times and they keep declining, I'll quit asking…

Maybe you can plan out what you're going to eat ahead of time and stick with it? It sounds like everyone in that house could benefit from a little more organized eating. I mean, if it were raining free cookies in my kitchen, I'd dive in and devour them too!!!

I started out on 1 lb a week but after losing 8 lbs, I got stuck for a while. I was hungry and wasnt' losing and it just wasn't worth it to me!! I record it at 20 minutes of circuit training and it gives me 173 calories. Not sure how accurate it is though!!

I don't think anyone's going to laugh at you!!! I'm not a doctor but it sounds like you've pushed your muscles to "muscle failure", a term used in the army to describe the feeling in your muscles when you just can't do ANY MORE!!! If the feeling persists then you should probably call your doctor!

Yah, don't skip dinner, just go light on it. If I saw a ny pizza right now, I wouldn't care how many calories was in it, I'd eat the WHOLE THING!!! and not feel bad!!!!!!! It's been years.... lol

I'm 5 ft. 6 in and 143 lbs and I wear a loose 10, maybe an 8 depending on the store. Medium tops for the length but my top half of my body is so small (extreme pear shape, LOL). That said, I'd wear a 15 in jr sizes but they are so low cut and I don't want anyone but my husband seeing my cracktastic butt ;)

That sounds pretty proportionate to me!! Don't laugh, I'm 41/29.5.30 (h/w/b) I find that I lose in my biggest spot LAST so maybe you'll lose evenly since you're pretty even?
