  • 2,500MG is what MFP gives.. I've read it should be closer to 2,200MG but the lower the better. A "low-sodium" diet is somewhere between 1,500 to 1,800MG per day. It's good to track sodium because at first I had no clue how much sodium is in certain items! And then if you add more salt it's worse!
  • Be careful with the sodium!
  • Maybe my cat thinks that he is a bunny because he has chewed through 6 phone chargers, a lap top charger, and a hair straightener!
  • Such sad news! I love his stand-up and his show. =(
  • Quick version: Say that I eat 1200 calories and I exercise and burn 400 calories. With the calories burned that would place me at 800 calories for the day, which would place my body in starvation mode. Starvation mode happens when your body doesn't get enough calories (1200 at least per day) so it starts to burn fat slower…
  • I am twenty-two, graduated from college with honors, will have my master's degree at twenty-three, and I tell my mom everything but she NEVER "popped" me to show me "who was the boss". This tactic reminds me of something that I do with my dog to assert dominance, except I don't even hit my dog, a loud noise is sufficient.…

  • Grad school and coffee are pretty much synonymous is my mind! I did switch to using splenda and coffeemate lite powdered creamer (10 calories per tablespoon), which isn't as good as the hazelnut liquid creamer but it's waaayyyy lower in calories!

  • It said 12 a few days ago. She's posted several posts and got the same answers about being too young to be obsessing, so she changed it.
  • no offense.. but you are really young and for a 12 year old, working out 2 hours a day is excessive. i'd say ride your bike or walk to school if you can, or join a sport. i know that seventeen magazine usually has a section on healthy eating and exercises also. it is important to learn to eat right and get into the habit…

  • So I am a camp counselor this summer. it's great exercise, but it means that I bring a lunch everyday to eat with the kids. Well, I've figured out that my normal ham and cheese is about 400 calories! Does anyone have any easy/low calorie sandwich ideas?
