I always track what I eat. However, I will have a day here and there where I give myself a break and allow some "junk food" knowing full well that I will be over my limit. I still track it tough so I can make sure I'm not doing that too often. I also track it out of habit and then it proves to me that eating 2,000 calories…

I'm on a 1200 calorie restriction. This is just not enough, I would be too hungry! If I'm hungry I eat and if I'm not I don't. Some days I don't hit the 1200 calorie mark other days I eat about 1500 calories. It all depends on how hungry I am if I am going to eat my exercise calories or not.

I was in the same boat!! Chewing gum helped me a lot. Once you can break the addiction it will get really easy not to go back.

You can add me if you want

It is very easy! I weight everything to help prevent that a little

I had one of those nights last night! I ate way to much junk! I tracked it and moved on, those days will happen. If they don't happen too often I think your fine.

From my personal experience I knew when I gained. No one had to tell me, I knew I had to buy bigger clothes and could see the gain...

I went through the same thing after about 4 months. I was still seeing a loss though I was just not that into it anymore and tired of tracking everything I ate. I took a break from it all, and came back when I was ready. Though I was still watching what I ate I was not keeping track. For me it worked, I lost for about 2…

I run about 12 miles a week and ride my bicycle about 10 miles. I have not hit that problem yet, though I would suggest making sure that you are eating foods that will help keep you full (fiber and protein) and drinking a lot of water. Other than that I am at a loss, though I look forward to other peoples answers.

You are doing great, there is no doubt about that. I would suggest changing up your exercises. If you always do the same thing, your body will get used to that and it can keep you stuck. Try to go for a jog or take an exercise class.

I like getting ideas from other people's diaries as well. Mine is open!

Welcome and good luck to you!

Eat as little junk food as you can while still feeling okay. If you need to cheat 3x a week at first, then that's better than just giving up completely. As long as you count the calories for it. As time goes on you will feel the need to cheat less and less.

I would give my self a little break, though not blow the entire thing. Just look at what you are eating, and ask yourself if you really want to eat this. That will at least put your mind in the right spot. Can you go for some nice walks or get in some extra exercise on the trip?

I weigh myself every morning, though as long as you are consistent about the time of day you weigh yourself, it really won't matter.
