I agree with Kirstie - it can be hard to accept that someone would like you that way if you feel down about yourself - be honest with him and tell him why you are holding back, the rewards may be even greater :-)

Sounds schmaltzy, but just take it a day at a time, and don't worry if you have the odd bad day :-)

I think you're free to weigh yourself every day if you want to, but don't worry if your weight doesn't go down every day. I weigh myself every day, and use the weekly average compared with the previous week to see how my progress is going
