Hi. Just to introduce myself. My name is Crystal. I'm a 32 year old mother of 5. I had my fifth baby in Jan. I'm also breast feeding. From past experience I haven't been able to lose weight while BFing. I've been running and doing strength training for the last month. Its been tough since I'm carrying around about 40lbs extra weight.
I've been watching what I'm eating. Although there is room for improvement.
I'm hoping to find motivation and support and to also give others here the same. Here's to getting healthy and looking our bests .

Welcome to MFP. I have lost 23lbs since 01/31/11 and absolutely love this site. I think you'll find the people on MFP to be very motivating, inspiring and encouraging. Feel free to add me as a friend. Keep it up!0

I nursed all 3 of mine for a year each....everyone said you lose weight when you nurse, but I didn't! My body was in production mode and wouldn't budge! As soon as I stopped, I lost the weight quickly (25 lbs. in 2 months) by eating a high protein/veggie/fruit diet (I limited carbs, but you need them while nursing). It sounds like you're doing everything you can do right now, just continue to eat what I call "clean" (whole foods), exercise and just enjoy those precious children.... :-)0

welcome! you can add me if you want. I've been here since October but committed my self at the start of the new year and have lost almost 23 lbs. I'm addicted and the people here are great! It's great knowing that there are others that are stuggling and willing to support you no matter what!0

Welcome! my youngest is 2 and I nursed her until 1( and my other 2) I was so frustrated by the fact that I couldn't lose even though I was nursing, and exercising and eating well yadda yadda, all along I probably wasn't taking in enough calories, sure wish I found this site a long time ago! glad you are here and can take advantage of it! Feel free to add me as a friend!0
