what incline setting are you using? i set tread to "rolling hills" which varies incline between 0.5- 3%,which i was advised mimics outdoor undulations. running on the flat may be causing problem.

lotto is a very basic brand not suitable for the amount you run. old,cheaper shoes cause injuries,im afraid. you can buy decent shoes from £30($40) .definately a wise investment.
