I'm jealous! That's awesome for you, I'm happy to hear this is a problem that does get fixed at some point. How long have you been working out? Did you do anything specific for the thigh area or is it just based on overall weight loss? Any tips would be much appreciated by many of us I think... At least me! I went for a…

I'm on it now. Will check back later!

I'd love to join! Sunday 5/1: 30DS and 4 mile walk: 100 minutes (I'm not a brisk walker yet...) Will touch base later for my Monday results. Happy burning!

It sounds like you are taking care of yourself just by being aware of your unhealthy habits. To me, this is the first thing to tackle before seeing any weight loss (at least number-wise). Making better choices slowly will make you stick to them in the long run and that's what's important. I know you can do it and that you…

Ok, so I stole this idea somewhat and started a new thread, check it out and join if you like! :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/230161-3100-6200-reps-in-may

Was going to post on Thursday, then Friday, then Saturday... But there was no movement on the scale! So, I'm checking in today with the same weight as last week... SW (4/25): 164.4 4/28: 164.4 5/5: 5/12: <<<mini goal: 160>>> 5/19: 5/26: 6/2: 6/9: <<<challenge goal: 156>>

Walked 4 miles today, the weather is great! Happy walking everyone
-
I like it in soup.
-
Nooooo! Don't tell me I'm too late to join this!
-
I need to move my *kitten*, so I'll join! I've set a goal of walking 90 miles in May. Happy May!
-
Are you guys going to do these in May, too? I can perhaps help start it off if you'd like me to!
-
Deleted - double post!

Welcome evs81! Those are great goals! Today is officially May 1st (at least in my part of the world) so going to sleep to wake up to a new day, a fresh month, and start on my goals - 30D Shred is first tomorrow morning followed by a nice 3 mile walk. Let's all touch base sometime tomorrow or the next day to see how our May…

I think it depends on fitness level. i think 30ds is somewhat easier than p90x but still really hard... if you're already doing p90x why not just continue and finish that and then pick up the 30ds? that's a great plan! i could feel the difference in my strength after day 3 of 30ds so i would def recommend it
-
Ok! Did high knees, 100 in each leg. Felt the burn like mad.
-
I've added to my goals: Walk 90 miles Start and Complete the 30D Shred Lift weights 8 times (8 muscle groups, 3 sets of 15 reps each) Plan my meals the night before at least 3 days a week Drink 2 liters of water a day Do one simple workout (everyday different) daily for 100 reps

100 is so much more than it sounds, when it comes to push ups! I really struggled with this. I had to break it up into several sets to get to a 100 and I was very angry they were so hard. I'm getting stronger with weights and fitness in general, but why are push ups still sooooo hard??
-
Weight wise I'd like to see the 150's - and stay there and no go back up to the 160s ever again! No specific number, just somewhere in the 150's (I'd even be happy with 159 as long as it won't go back up a day later)! Fitness wise I've set more specific goals: Walk 90 miles Start and Complete the 30D Shred Lift weights 8…

I'll be happy to help support you, and everyone else on here! I suggest we set some specific goals for May, so we take it a step at a time and this way we can be more on top of keeping each other accountable and on track... What do you think? My weight today is 164.4....
-
Push ups are really really hard for me! But I will do it, no matter how long it takes! Will try to do mostly level 2. Check back with you all later!
-
i'd like to hear some solid answers myself, so tagging along. Personally, twice a day seems to make sense because of metabolism and just being more active throughout the day rather than one boosted time. But I'm no scientist.
-
Would love to join you guys! Planning on walking 3 miles tomorrow.
-
Wish I found this earlier!
-
No, that's great! Not too many at all! I just know myself and its better for me to set two or three main ones and work on getting them accomplished. Whatever extra I do is extra, and great! But I seem to get too hard on myself if I set things too high... Welcome and looking forward to staying in touch!
-
Thanks man. I was about to yell at you - stop *****ing, dude, you've lost 30#!! But then I kept reading... Well said. (Coming from someone who needs to hear it!)
-
Those are great goals, clarificty! I look forward to helping each other through this :)
-
before and after pics?
-
Yes, to reiterate the OP's words - stretch before and after!! Just did 160. Broke it up to sets of 20 reps: 3 sets of "level 1" starting feet in a "V" shape 3 sets of "level 1" starting feet in a upside down "V" shape 2 sets of "level 3" Sweet. Thanks for the challenge!

And yes, I think there is truth to the notion of shifting the attention onto someone else. This is also human nature whether it's healthy or not, I think it's unavoidable. I think I am guilty of doing this and sometimes catch myself judging someone else - how can she go out wearing that? when in truth I'm jealous she can…

In a way your post is focusing on what "other people are up to", no? And I am not saying this to attack you in any way, just pointing out that it's human nature to care somewhat what other people are doing, saying, thinking. I think it's impossible to totally not care, otherwise one wouldn't have a public profile - or not…
