That is my goal from April through November, with the November one being a 5 mile Turkey Trot. I'm currently doing the c25k program and I'm hoping the races will keep me motivated!

Did W4D1 today. It is definitely becoming more challenging. I'm kind of getting scared that maybe I can't do this! I was running a mile last week and now today i could barely make it for the five minute portions. Hopefully it was just an off day for me. I'm just going to keep at it and trust in myself because I want to do…

Also, ice cream has no calories because it melts right away when you eat it. :)

Awesome! I'm doing W4D1 today. I'm excited for the longer run portions! I just wish it would warm up soon so I can start doing some of this outside - stupid WI weather. I'm already getting a little bored on the treadmill and I really don't want to lose excitement over this because of that. My family and I are going to…

Lol!! So true! It's like the dress makers are saying, "How can we make people feel worse about having to pay $200 for an ugly dress that they'll never wear again? I know! Let's make the sizes bigger than they actually are!"

Did W3D3 today. It went well, but I felt a little lazy, so it wasn't as good as it could have been. I am excited for the longer run portions in week four.

Aghgahghga (that was my Homer Simpson impression).....Cheeseburger in Paradise. Oh, NOT completely horrendous. Yeah, don't get that then. But I do really want a Cheeseburger in Paradise now. And a fruity alcoholic beverage.

I am not an early morning workout person either. Like you, I find that mid-morning is when I'm at my best. I actually feel like I am more tired through out the day if I work out early in the am, even if I'm not actually getting up early. I also agree to try to do your third run on Thursday. You're doing great!

It is so nice to have experienced runners on here to talk to and get advice from! Thank you!!!! Now that I have been up and moving around, I'm feeling much better and I am already trying to figure out if I can run tonight instead of having to wait for tomorrow. I have a bodymedia armband that I sync with MFP and I don't…

I was going to do W3D3 this morning, but I just wasn't feeling it so I'll either do it tonight or tomorrow. Feeling kind of down because I was up a pound this morning even though I've been good calorie wise and fan-freaking-tastic workout wise. I think that is why I just didn't feel like doing it this morning. I actually…

I believe that any apps you can get for iPhone would also be available for the iPod Touch. I have mapmyrun and c25k on my iPhone.

You go girl! I'm in WI, too and there is no way I'm going to run outside until it is at least 45! I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold. I am totally retiring to Florida (I'm only 34, though so I have to wait a while for that).

Completed W3D2 today. I did a full mile run in the middle again (it was actually closer to 1.25 miles, so that was exciting). I promise to stick to the program on W4D1, but for now I really enjoy pushing myself to get to that mile mark. I figure I feel good, so why not. I'm really starting to realize how much of a mental…

I drink at least 70 oz of water a day and it is always flavored with a crystal light packet (I love the energy ones). I have been losing at a steady pace of about 1.5 pounds a week. I figure it's better than soda, which is what I used to drink, and it helps me drink my water so I'm going to keep on using them.

I love having supportive friends (not sure what it is about an active newsfeed, but I love it). I'm on multiple times a day; feel free to add me

It seems like you don't really care if 1000 calories is too low (which it is), so why are you asking if you're just going to go ahead with it anyway? You should be eating at least 1200 calories a day to lose weight the healthy way.

I am on Lexapro and have been losing weight just fine while on it. My doc put me on that one specifically because it is one that is least likely to increase appetite.

Completed W3D1 today, but I was feeling good and I just wanted to see if I could run a mile if I tried, so I did the warm up and then ran a mile and kept going a bit more because I was in the middle of a run portion. So, I did a mile and it felt AMAZING!! I will go back to sticking to the program on my Wednesday run, but…

W2D2 completed today. Next run is scheduled for Monday. I think I might skip day 3 and move onto day one of week three. On both days of week two so far I was able to run through some of the walking portions. Today I did that twice, so I ran five minutes at a time. I also ran through the last walking portion since the cool…

I'm the opposite. I bring my lunch and snacks to work and that's all I have to eat during the day. The weekends are when I find it hard. Everything in my house is available for me to eat :)

The only reason I clicked on this post was to see if anyone commented on reading read forskolin wrong like I did. Glad I'm not the only one!

Here is a link to one (assuming this is the one you need): http://www.bodymedia.com/Shop/Accessories/Replacement-Armband-strap_2 I also use a Bodymedia armband. I love it!

Finished W2D1of C25k yesterday. I was feeling good, so I decided to try to run through one of the walking portions and I did it! I ran at 5mph for 5 minutes straight! I added a minute onto another run portion and ran through the last walk portion as well. I am really proud of myself! BTW, if you are looking for a really…

I also have the free app and cannot get it to sync (same problem as OP). Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what the difference between the free version and the paid version (besides apparently being able to sync to MFP) is?

I just got done with week one yesterday. I'm starting week two tomorrow. So far, so good! Good luck!

Finished week one today. I tried the running portions at 5.5, but I just couldn't do that fast of a run and then walk at a decent pace, so I went back down to 5 for the third through seventh run portions and did the last run at 5.5 for the last one. That seemed to work better. I was going to up the incline on the treadmill…

Lol ggoss10! I totally know what you mean by wanting to high five everyone! That sense of accomplishment is my favorite part of running. I'm sure I am absolutely the weirdest runner in the gym; I just can't help mouthing along to the music and throwing in some dance moves and air punches! It makes the time go faster…

I figured out (the hard way, by gaining back almost 30 of the 40 pounds I lost) that I am one of the "lucky" ones that needs to eat right and work out to lose weight. I basically work out so I can eat, lol. For working out, you have to find something that you can at least not hate doing (i have yet to find a workout I…
