Thanks for chiming in @sarauk2sf ♡ it makes sense.

Thank you and sorry to hear of yours, too!♡ I was told rep records are just as indicative of strength gains as 1 RM. They both show an improvement of overall strength. Like deadlifts, my 1 RM in December was 165 lbs. About a month ago prior to injury, I was doing 2x12 155 lbs. It turns into a definite test of strength.…

What does weight distribution have to do with the ability to lose weight? ..... oh right. ... it doesn't.

I never had to pay for it, you're right. I got my desired results for free. I never said points were magical. I'm not sure where you got that from. It's an oversimplification of calories that isn't nearly as exact. Calories dictate weight loss, so if that's your goal, it's pretty wise to reign those in.

I like you

I had intended on eventually attempting it on a cut, though sadly I'm out from lifting due to a back injury for the time being. It would be interesting to see how one would fair. It is quite a bit but I like it. It's challenging for sure. I started very light, especially since the intentions of going up by 10% each cycle.…

I, honestly, think mfp is better. Not just because it's free but because you actually see the calories and not "points". Also, aren't veggies "free points" on ww? That might work for awhile because veggies are typically less calorie dense than other things but as you get closer to goal, those calories can add up. I've…

Don't forget ice cream!!!!

<3 well don't hate me! !! Honestly, for my cut I wasted a lot of potential strength gains doing hacked together routines rather than a good structured ones. I saw most of my physique/strength improvement when I switched to bulk back in February and switched to All Pro beginner's routine(I still think this or…

Your scale tells you when I go to bed? Creepy. I seemed to have lost 53 lbs eating a large majority of my calories after 5 pm... like 1k plus some days... seems my metabolism is fine.... ETA : omg, I just ate a pint of ice cream at 1130pm and laid down for bed....

Leptin levels will probably make you a little hungry when you go back to a deficit. That would potentially make it more difficult if you're feeling a tad peckish. I would try to eat 50-75% of exercise calories instead of all of them and wait it out a few weeks and see where the weight trends. After being in a maintenance…

Also not Lis but wanted to post my experience. This is my experience of iifym. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/BombshellPhoenix/view/my-1200-calorie-story-705482 "Clean" is such a broad random word. Focusing on nutrient density is great, that's the essence of iifym. It's not intended to be an "eat nothing but cheetos…

I want to take that damn chart and set it on fire

@usmcmp :awesome:

What constitutes as abs to you? Like 6 pack or? I'm about 18%. I know competition wise women get down to sub 15%. It really depends on genetics, personal preference on what you're willing to dip to before potential hormonal issues could arise from dipping too low. I've always wanted a six pack but I don't have the volume…

Ohai me. 5'3.5 " 120 lbs thigh- 20.5 in Calves- 13 in I'm in love with angular thighs and they're starting to get that way from my slight bulk I did since back then. Tough cookies for me now though with my current injury but fun to look back!

Probably eat more than 1200 calories and lose weight.... that being said, I was like 3000+ on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween and lost 53 lbs in about 9 months. One day doesn't determine your progress long term unless you mimic that behavior every single day. Holidays are meant to be enjoyed.

Sorry, I've been told I'm aggressive
-
I'm confused. Is OP suggesting that any method can make you successful but her way is better? Or throwing out the idea that thermodynamics is the root of weight loss? Or suggesting that certain food inhibit weight loss? I'm still stuck on the "it's gonna catch up to you one day...maybe not tomorrow...or the next day...or…

The mental image is hysterical. I think the creators of South Park would get behind this!

I'd be more likely to even look into it if it were "Wheat Belly- The Musical" Both are laughable though

I'd save my money and not buy them at all, if it were me.

I treat my fat as a minimum, myself. There's nothing wrong with exceeding it. That being said, nuts are much more a better source of fat than protein to start with. Some of my favorite protein sources: lean meats, fish, edamame, eggs, cottage cheese, cheeses, Greek yogurt, asparagus, broccoli, quinoa.

And the award for the most passive aggressive statement goes toooooooooo... OP!!!!!! I'm waiting anxiously, with my tinfoil hat on, for the horrible, terrible unspeakable things that will be done to me (sounds dirty)

Doesn't matter. It's overall calories. I eat up to 1000 calories some nights, right before bed. Lost 53 lbs doing so

Your profile says you've lost 1.9 lbs? That's something. How long have you been tracking? Do you own a food scale? Do you take cheat days? At your stats, you're already at a good weight. So you want the weight loss to be slow
