5'3.5 " and whatever weight I'm at that I'm visually happy with. Currently, that's 120 lbs. I started out at 170 lbs but I'm over the moon with where I'm at now

^this. Your metabolism is always going. Eat a proper caloric amount for your goals and eat when it makes you feel best. That's how I lost 53 lbs

This seems illogical to continue to guess intake, rather than just buying a food scale and eliminating the gray area of "maybe I'm in a deficit". Just saying.
-
Ya, my tip and trick is to not take it or start it at all. Instead, focus on finding a calorie deficit that is sustainable and an exercise you enjoy.
-
If you're losing a pound per week, that isn't a stall and sounds perfectly like sustainable weight loss. Weight loss will never be linear. If you go up and down on the scale from one day to the next, it's normal. Everyone's weight does that. It doesn't mean you're not losing weight or gaining it back. Working out every day…

It is odd...sticky and sweet, too...

You gotta put some mushy, warm melty chocolate and marshmallows to make that sammich sensual. It's sex ed 101. Smores drive me wild.

Most mornings I just drink coffee and don't eat until noon. I'm just not typically hungry in the morning. But! This was my breakfast this morning

That's why calorie counting helps! ..so you know how much you're eating. They are tasty though, just like anything. Just gotta make em fit.

1g per pound of body weight might be excessive. Not anything wrong with it but it's typically recommended 1g per pound of lean body mass in protein(even for strength training in a deficit). Chicken, fish, Greek yogurt, eggs, bacon, cheese, cottage cheese, quinoa, edamame, lentils are some of my favorite. Nothing wrong with…

Why would that matter? Meal timing is purely personal preference. OP, I do think your calories are set too aggressive. I'm 5'3.5 " and lost 53 lbs at 1650 calories before exercise (most days I was around 1900).

You're talking to a girl who can eat a half a pan of peanut butter bars. I'm well aware. And I still advocate moderation.

Moderation.

Why can't you save calories for when you get home? I always have a hefty night snack because I prefer it that way.

You seem very mature and well-rounded. Have fun figuring out what an opinion means.

Opinion isn't someone who is against it...an opinion can be good or bad...neutral.

Wtf is this run on sentence?

I've lost 53 lbs without snake oil. I never had to try it because it's a waste of time. The only experience I have is a friend of mine sold it a year ago when I was 170 lbs and tried to sell it to me. I declined and she chose to combine it with a VLCD over the course of a year and now suffers from metabolic damage. Yes,…

Unless OP has a medical condition, you'd have to be eating like 300g worth of protein a day to cause damage. It's generally recommended 1g per pound of lean body mass in protein, so while yes her consumption is quite high, it isn't a crazy high amount.

would it surprise you to know I hit both of those things consistently on a daily basis?
-
Save your money. If I'm low on energy prior to working out in the evenings I drink a coffee about 30 minutes before and carb up. Energy issue solved for no snake oil MLM prices!

^Ermegerd, you stole that picture of me from last year's Thanksgiviiiiiing. Pahaha. I'm planning on enjoying myself, no regrets

I'm a stay at home mom, I do work part time cleaning buildings for a few hours 3 days a week but the past 8 weeks I took my weight and calorie average and that's what it comes to. I'm very diligent about weighing 90% of what I can, my TDEE is probably a bit higher than most, I'll admit.

I just want to know how bacon is worse? Bacon is my priority 1 proteins.
