I eat whatever I want, every day. Priority one for me is generally getting my macro / micro goals. Then, once I have those in line...I throw in the peanut butter fudge and ice cream...lost 53 lbs in 9 months doing so. Health is in the context of a whole diet, weight loss is calorie deficit. Fit things in you love and…

Um, I ate over 3000 the day after Halloween and I just ate normally for the next week. Why would you starve yourself over one day? That mindset is kind of disturbing. For the record, I'm 5'3.5" 119 lbs and maintain on 2100 with just my day to day life. Just treat today new and move on.

Right, but unless you have blood sugar issues, it's not a big deal. Meal timing and frequency is purely personal preference to those who do not suffer from medical conditions. Do what makes you feel best.

I'm sure there'd be a willing tiny creature to guide you. My precioussss.

I prefer larger meals. I find if I eat small meals, I'm never full. I generally wake up at 6 am and drink my coffee, then I don't eat until about noon. Then, I eat dinner at 5 pm and my largest meal is typically my evening snack at around 9-10pm when the kids are asleep .

You could probably eat more than 1200, to start. That's not really that much protein but yes, chicken, fish, eggs are great lower calorie protein options. Greek yogurt, edamame, lentils, cottage cheese, milk, cheese, etc are some other sources. That sounds decently accurate. I go 1g per pound of lean body mass in protein…

I just bought a digital food scale at Walmart. It's been working for me for about a year now, zero issues. I think I spent about $20, maybe?

5'3.5 " maintaining 119 lbs on 2100 calories a day average. Lost 53 lbs eating at around 1900 gross calories.

I actually love the monster protein drinks. My worst has been kale and Brussel sprouts. D; Also, Arctic Zero cardboard lies!

^This. The best thing for weight loss isa calorie deficit. The second is something you can stick to.

What is clean?

If actual food is out of the question... sure, use it for whatever you will. Protein powders are simply a convenient way to hit your protein macro. I wouldn't say it's better or worse to use powders as opposed to foods, assuming you're getting proper nutrition. I think I would reassess your foods you're choosing though if…

I'm sure you've gotten plenty of good advice about how ridiculously stupid your dietician is but.... So much no. Also, on the dairy front. I eat PINTS of gelato in a sitting frequently and went from 35% BF to 17% BF and lost 53 lbs doing so....calling full bs. My advice? Get a new dietician!
-
I lost 53 lbs in 9 months eating a majority of my calories in the evening. I'm maintaining doing this too. /shrugs.
-
I really like you.
-
I plan to maintain, like I have been.
-
Hey, if it justifies all this as free calories I'll log it every month!
-
Should I log bleeding once a month under zumba or vigorous calisthenics?
-
^can I count this as a calorie burn. Hedge trimming has to burn something.
-
Oh, we'd be a terrible match. All I do is eat late night...and drink. Good luck on your journey $

I have no idea. When I ran, I'd be lucky to get 300 calories for 30 minutes of running from my polar FT4. However, none of the numbers will be accurate. It's all a guess. MFP is notorious for overestimating. It's actually why I switched to TDEE method rather than MFP, so I didn't have to worry about adding calories for…

Oh yes, you're the first one to ever spout that crap. Claps for you.

This is true...also, have you seen the mermaid documentary on discovery channel? That's a science channel, they can't lie to you on there!
-
If this were even remotely true I wouldn't have lost 53 lbs and gone from 35% BF to 17%...just saying. That's just stupid.... calorie deficit for weight loss...macros for body composition. I eat ice cream, candy, cookies, etc in the evening nearly every night. Look at my diary if you don't believe. It's stupid to think…

Always raw unless stated otherwise
-
Thanks for the evening lol
-
I just eat 3k and call it a day
-
QFT Also, I'm in for personal responsibility and making treats either fit or not fit... I had a donut from the break room the other day. I've been maintaining my weight for about 8 months now just fine eating these things...
-
I like pickles.

In honor of this thread I found pumpkin pie donuts and dunked them in my coffee the other day...true story.... I also lived to tell the horrific tale of how delicious and non-deadly they were.
