Hi. Also looking to lose about 70. Ready to do this but could also use all the support and encouragement I can get. Please feel free to friend me if you like.

I have had this type of problem for a long time. Then when I was in the Army years ago it went to complete numbness and wouldn't go away for a few months. Then I found out that it was plantar fasciitis. In high school I ignored it...continually trying different shoes. Basically nothing I could do about it. Not sure if it's…

Definately interested!

I'm 5'7"...169 this morning. My doctor told me last week to do 1300 calories...1500 if I exercise. Seems simple. I'm gonna try it. Been doing the MFP way for quite a while (eating calories back, etc.) I've been up and down with tracking and weight too. Anyway...if 1300-1500 is ok for someone my height....I would assume it's…

I've been saying no so long that they rarely push it anymore. When people would leave stuff, i just give it to someone else or leave it on someone elses desk. Hehehe

If you sync the fitbit with myfitnesspal, when you input your exercise like zumba or jogging, etc....it will replace that time with the exercise you put. So, while it will count the steps or stairs during that time-it wont double count it for calorie purposes. I hope I explained this sorta clearly. If you go to the fitbit…

You Sir..are awesome

I always go with the lowest...I guess it kinda defeats the purpose of having an HRM but...i figure then I have a little safety if I go over or underestimate. I have an elliptical that gives the calories, an HRM and then the MFP estimate. The MFP estimate is always the lowest (for me,) contrary to what others have posted in…

Ha! I get the exact opposite (kinda.) I now live in Colorado but was born and raised on Long Island. I dont have the typical accent so when someone asks where I'm from and I say NY, they say "Oh? Upstate?" LOL!

If I can quit, you can too. 2 years on April 1st. I used Chantix for about a month. Helped take the edge off for me. It got easier every day....I smoked almost 20 years-at least a pack a day...

Thanks! It's been a roller coaster for sure :)

Thanks! :) Same to you! Great accomplishment!

Haven't heard of that one....

I do the same. I just recently got the fitbit as I'm trying to prepare myself for maintenance. It is a fun little gadget. I haven't given mine a name yet though :)
-
Personally, I used Chantix...only for about a month though. Helped take that "edge" off. It'll be 2 years quit on April, 1st..(no foolin!) :)

I'm so in!
