Congrats!!! I'm hoping to get into some of my clothes soon -- including shoes :-) Glad to hear your husband is thinking of getting involved, too. Mine needs to lose, but isn't ready to "diet" yet. He has started joining me on daily walks, though, which is a big first step!

I did the first ten days before leaving on vacation. I can't wait to get back to it after a two week absence, because in the first 10 days I lost: 1-1/2" inches in my waist, 1" in my hips, and 1/2" in each of my thighs and arms. Challenge start weight: 197.8 6/5: 197.8 6/12 195.6 6/19 196.0 (+0.4) Not bad, considering I spent the week at DisneyWorld with my four teenagers. I think it's mostly water retention, since I had a hard time drinking enough water. I'm at the beach this week, so I'm hoping it will be a lot better!!

I am loving the 30DS!! If you don't have a HRM, you can use Circuit Training to log the time. (That's what I do.) Have fun with it -- I've done the first ten days, and already have lost 1-1/2" in my waist, 1" in my hips and 1/2" in each of my thighs and arms. Jillian will kick your butt - but it's SO worth it!!

I've exercised more, eaten healthier, and drank more water than ever before in my life..... and I'm STILL stuck at 197.8. Was hoping I could break this plateau, but not this week, I guess!! I'm exactly where I started last Sunday. Good luck to everyone else in the challenge!!!

I've started out slowly -- doing it every other day this first week while I let my muscles get used to working out again. I've done it 3 times now, and plan on shredding on Friday, then Sunday and from then on everyday. I'm loving it -- even though I can't make it all the way through Level One yet!!!

As others have said, anything with caffeine doesn't count as water. On a side note, anytime you drink anything with caffeine or sodium, you should add another glass of water to your daily intake to help "flush out" the toxins you've just put in.
