An entire bag of Cheetos or a can of Pringles. Of course, I'd drink Diet Coke to "balance" the calories.

I just started it today, too. I'm so out of shape, I couldn't even make it all the way through...but I will soon! LOL From what I've seen, most people on here record it as circuit training.

My favorites are the Nabisco 100 calorie snack packs (Lorna Doone's or Fudge Stripes), or if the kids have eaten all those, I might munch on grapes or pretzels.

Unfortunately, the law only requires nutritional information be provided if restaurants claim that their menu items are "low fat" or "low sodium", etc. The FDA doesn't require restaurants to post or even provide nutritional data for regular menu items. I've tried googling the data, or looking it up in our database, but…

I'm in!!! I've been wanting to join a challenge -- this will be my first :-)

That's not silly -- that's success!! CONGRATS!!

hahahahahaha As a middle school teacher, and mom of 6 kids ages 12-21 -- this is REALLY true!!

My son and I both have food allergies, so we take food with us all the time. People rarely say anything. I say, bring what you need to for yourself, and if anyone says anything about it, just tell them that you have to be careful about what you eat. It's not rude on your part at all!!

My "official" weigh-in is once a week on Sunday mornings, but I usually take a mid-week "peek" to make sure I'm staying on track.

If it was easy, everyone would be skinny!! It's probably the hardest thing I've ever done.

Exactly...me too

Woodley.... it's a softer, prettier look!!

What are these and where can I find them??? I love Salt and Vinegar chips and had to give them up.

I'm much more addicted to MFP than FB now!!! Also... I look up menus and calories before I'll go out to eat so I can choose intelligently what I can eat!! I won't even go to some restaurants b/c they don't have healthy enough choices!!

You're in the right place for support and encouragement!! You can add me if you want!! Good luck on your weight-loss journey!!

Apple Jacks without milk.... one cup is 100 calories.
-
I do this too!! I think I've seen every episode of "Suite Life" and "Wizards of Waverly Place".... without my kids!
-
Sounds like I can do both -- maybe start by doing the every-other-day thing, then move up to doing the Shred everyday and adding Zumba 4-5 times/week after I build up my endurance levels. Thanks for your input!!

OMG!! I do this too!! I also straighten picture frames so they don't hang crooked!

1. I can't pronounce the word "aluminum" -- which is really sad since a) I'm an English teacher and b) the city I live in was named after the stupid stuff! 2. When I was in high-school, I out-belched the football team. What can I say -- it was warm Root Beer!!

You are definitely in the right place!! Welcome to MFP!!
-
Look up the calories and nutrition info in the database before you eat it!! You'll probably find it's not worth it!! If you still want to eat it, make yourself work off the calories FIRST, then reward yourself with 1/2 the cookie!

Originally Alberta, Canada...spent 15 years in Arizona, then four in Oklahoma before landing in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee about 16 years ago. It will take a miracle (or a condo on the Gulf Beach) to get me to move again!!

It's similar to Dream Whip (Canada). I think it's Dream Topping (?) in the UK

BUMP!! This could be a life-saver!! I've almost cried a time or two when friends are eating goodies and I have to pass it all by....but cheesecake?? YUMMMMM

It's normal, and your body will get used to it. I've learned to drink a moderate amount in the morning when I can't get to a restroom easily (I'm a teacher and can't leave my classroom) and then drink more in the afternoons and early evening. So far, it is working for me!! The water is important though, so you really don't…
