If you are not counting exercise calories, then you are actually probably under 1000 right? 1000 calories is too few for anyone, especially if you are exercising. If you deprive yourself of calories your body will begin to burn muscle for fuel.

I totally see a difference! You are doing great so far. Measurements will really help, not just the scale. Make sure you aren't doing too much too soon. A lot of people tend to stop all together if they get burnt out from doing too much. Keep up the good work, and good luck to you.

Edited: I have now seen your reply that I "think" is you stating that you do have PCOS. I also had a cyst when I was in my teens (31 now) and dr's did not diagnose it as PCOS until 28 years old. Also when I was in my early twenties I would sometimes just not have periods. I thought I was pregnant, but my dr at the time…

Considering your previous experience with anorexia, I would strongly recommend consulting your doctor on this issue. Have you tried varying up your exercise?
