loosing 3 lbs in one week is a large loss! be happy and patient! It can also be water weight, salt retention, gaining muscle.. lots effect the number on the scale.

Cheese and meats are also high in cholesterol. Again I wouldnt worry about the weightloss aspect but if you are worried this number will come out in blood work.

that sounds awesome but I am going to a casino for a weekend to celebrate a birthday and I am trying to stay on track as much as possible and small healthy snacks throughout the day will def help!

I was also wondering about getting into protein shakes but have not spent the money because I eat greek yogurt and protein bars. Never have problem reaching my protein counts. hope this helps give you more options!

I also get hungry at night but instead I try and just drink water and not eat after 8 pm. If you do eat, make sure you track it, you need to hold yourself accountable!

I am the same as Loulamb, I have 3 meals and 2 snacks. This helps to keep me fool and not snack on junk!

I looked in the mirror, how i thought i looked and what I saw did not match up. I was also tired of family members calling me fat!

I would say to try to plan ahead your meals for the day. I actually try logging a few days in advance. Obviously things change and I do tweak but this helps to ensure I do not go over. When I do go over, i try to work out more or see where I can make healthier choices. For example, use sandwich thins instead of white…

I am not sure what your diary looks like or how you are eating but I eat 3 Meals a day and 2- 3 snacks. This means I am eating every few hours. I dont have time to be hungry. Obviously my portions are smaller because of it!
