Agreed. Bullet dodged. Keep in mind that while he saw one small thing that he didn't like, he also showed off one HUGE thing that YOU didn't (and shouldn't!) like - his shallow personality! *Edit because I'm not through being angry: If he ever contacts you again, hit him where it hurts. Tell him that if he can make an…

Could you give more details? I'm wondering since I think that this is the part that I am struggling with.

There's a very free app to use on your phone too. It's a solid, simple program to follow for lifting noobs and former slobs like me. I've been doing the program since July and although I don't think I look drastically different, I FEEL very different. My back feels... muscular? My thighs are solid. My *kitten* is a rock.…

This. Plan your days out. Here are some things that help me be consistent: - Plan out the next day's breakfast and lunch (I should plan dinner too, but I don't for various boring reasons). I make tomorrow's lunch and put it in the fridge. - If I do go over, I still try to eat reasonable. - I don't beat myself up if I go…

My wife, very politely, told me that the fatter I get, the more I snore. After slowly losing 45 pounds, she claims that I don't snore anymore. Personally, I don't believe that I ever snored.

- Better N Peanut Butter - 100 calories per serving as opposed to the 170+ in most other peanut butters - Lots of different instant oatmeals for only 100 calories per serving. Wegmans and Quaker Oats both have varieties.

Anybody struggle with summers off? The lack of schedule wreaks havoc on my eating. It's one of the many reasons that I teach summer school.

After 7 months of slow and steady progress, I'm ready for some MFP friends. Feel free to add me.

I'm worried that those calories are terribly inaccurate, but I guess they're better than nothing.

I'm in the same situation and currently I'm adding a little more exercise and continuing eating the way I have been eating. I'm going to wait to see if my weight loss "bottoms out" and then I might change something. But I'm really curious to see some other replies here.

First, anything I've read about fitness says the form is KING. Form is the most important part. Do it right or don't do it. Second, I have a bit of a tangent here: what is the best way to check my form if I workout alone at home? As a workout noob, I don't really have anyone to check my form. I THINK I'm doing things…

I broke down and ordered a Peanut Butter & Company 3 pack of Smooth Operator, Dark Chocolate, and White Chocolate. It should be here by Tuesday. I fell particularly silly since I just restocked my PB today at Wegman's!

I use it all the time. Love it; until it stops working. I then rant, rave, and blame Microsoft for making me fat. Seriously, why does such a wonderful app have to crap the bed so frequently?

Sure... I've used MFP religiously for 7 months but just started posting on the forum this week, so why not.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... what is this that you speak of... Going to Google it now.

38 was just about right on me. 36 waist was my "normal" size and they were all frickin tight in December and January. Plus, I think my weight as ALL fat and no muscle. And all stored in my gut. Those size 38s were a bit of a motivator too.

Every friggin' morning. Wake up, get naked, use bathroom, weigh.
