I do it 3 days a week (on the days I have Curves) and have noticed results. Not all are can be seen though. My running times are better and I can really kill the arm machines at Curves now. I am still pretty heavy so I think most muscle is still hiding under the fat. I also am not expecting huge changes right now, I…

I break the weight loss into small bits, first 10, then to 20... It makes it some much easier to stay motivated when you have lost 17 lbs and you only have 3 more to go to that 20, rather than I have only lost 10, I have XX amount left. Don't let your brain talk your body into things it's not ready for. Listen to your body…

Even though I am doing the C25K and working out at Curves, JM 30 Day Shred kicked my butt the first 4 workouts! Not so much my legs but my arms were KILLING ME! I have renamed JM 30 day to JM trying to kill me with exercise...lol My last workout was day 5 and I didn't feel like shoot my TV when I was done.

I have had it for a while too. Mine is from frequent hand washing ( I am a home daycare provider so there is a lot of hand washing). I haven't tried to control it with diet. My dermatologist prescribed an awesome cream and it works wonders. I am not sure if I came put the name here on the board but if you wan to know what…

I don't always eat back my exercise calories. I do make sure I get in the 1200 that I am suppose to, other than that the exercise calories are there if I need it and I will use it if I need it but if I don't or I am full I don't eat it back.

LOL..... Glad I am not the only dorky adult here. Making my Deathly Hallow sign shirt for the midnight showing tonight. Have fun with your party!

4. Those who have graduated, were you following the program strictly or loosely? Did you repeat or need to start over? I haven't graduated yet but I found I had to adjust it to fit me better. I still hold to the guidelines of the program but had to scale back the running because I just couldn't push myself to go from 3…

I weigh myself every morning but don't always log it in. For me the worst time is a few days before, it seems like everything works it's self back to normal by my last day.

Way to go!!

I slow way down and walk some, each time I hit that hill try to run just a bit more, even if it's just a couple of steps. I finally made it up the hill by my house, been working at that one since I started running outside around mid May. Hills are good for building muscle but a pain the in rear when you first start working…

When I first started I would get the same thing. I would just drink water, wait 20 mins and see if that didn't help. If not I would snack on a cheese stick or have a few slices of lunch meat. For me it was the protein that helped curb those pains the most.

My husband uses Body Glide, it looks like a deodorant stick but it's made to prevent chafing. He uses it on his long runs or anything over 10 miles. http://www.bodyglide.com/#/products/anti-chafe

It's taken me longer, but I started on the treadmill and running on the hard ground seems to take more out of you...lol I also had a hard time with the running times so I kind of readjusted it to fit what I needed. I started over and worked my way up to now running 5 to 7 mins with 2 min walk breaks. My first 5K (in two…

No wonder my IBD flair ups last longer when I am heavier!

Add one cup of water to the sauce to help the pasta cook, bake covered for about 30 mins and uncovered for another 20 to 30 mins.

Every morning, however since I am seeing results I am staying. It's not easy to take it off, much easier to put it on. So far I have lost 17.6 lbs, still have quite a ways to go but when I picked up one of my flower pots that weighs 15 lbs I was amazed that I was carrying all that on my all the time, no wonder I was…

I am a mom to three, although mine are much older than the others (20 yrs old, 10 yrs old and 8 yrs old), but I also run a small daycare so I am around little ones all day. I watch ages 12 weeks to 5 yrs old. I adore this age group! Feel free to add me.

I did weight watchers after my son was born. We wanted one more but I did not want to be fat and pregnant again! The first time around it worked great, I lost 65 lbs in 10 months. The other three times I have tried it, not good results. I have tried other sites for counting calories but MFP is the BEST! I am not sure what…
