Well no, no & no to all the above, I weigh all my food, most everything I eat is home made from scratch. I do my research and make sure I am using the approriate enties with as accurate as possible calorie counts. I appreciate the answers and suggestions and thank all who responded.

LOL, I'm 66 5'4 and if I consumed 1900 a day I'd be right back where I started, yes 1900 a day would cause weight gain for me and I do get some excerise daily.

Hey thanks for the invite. I didn't receive the invitation but I was able to click on the link.

Alwaysgreat to get out of the X's. Congrats

Hi, I'm new to the 5% challenge but not to MFP. Would be happy with any team that is available. Thank you.

I'm with you, briefly dipped to 158 but have been hovering in the mid 160's for a year /sigh. Better than 240 (my highest) though. This is not where I want to be for maintenance but I'm grateful to be where I am rather than where I was. Putting some real effort into dropping into the 150's again.

Same except my stall has been for a few months, seriously back at it again for about a week, hopefully the scale will be going the right direction for awhile.
-
Oh yeah, I have adult daughters like that too ;)

To get serious about losing again so I can break through this 5lb range I've been bouncing around in all summer.

I cleaned out my closet a couple month back (not yet at goal but had a ton of clothes that were way too big) and put them in large trash bags to donate. I had 2 bags stuffed full & a 3rd half full which I left on the floor of the closet for a week or so. I moved the full bags to the trunk of my car so I could donate them…

To get into the healthy BMI range, just under 10lbs to go. It's probably going to take awhile as weight loss has significantly slowed down but that's ok, it's not a race.
-
I may not be where I want to be but I'm happy I'm not where I was.
-
So inspiring... Although I am not yet where I want to be I am so grateful I am not where I was. Thank you for reminding me of that.

So an email went out at work late Friday which I didn't see until this morning noting birthdays & anniversaries for July. It included a picture of the employee. My Birthday was in July and the photo they included is 4 years old and probably at my heaviest or close to it. My NSV? I really look nothing like that photo…

I can definitely relate. I realized I had no tops that fit except tshirts & tanks. I needed a few casual tops. As I am not yet at goal and didn't want to spend alot, I ordered online & was having a hard time decided on size. At this retailer an XL is a US12 a L is a US10, I decided on the XL because I was afraid the L…

I had to renew my drivers license and didn't want to put my actual weight. Not because I'm embarrassed by it (it's 20lbs less than my previous license) but because I know I'm going to lose more and won't be close to my current weight in a few months. I did give my actual weight btw

To break through this plateau I'm bouncing round in. Been stuck in the same 3 pound range for almost a month now, so annoying. Still eating at a deficit & exercising the same (or a little more) but trusting the process as this isn't the first plateau. Just so frustrating :#

I am exactly the opposite and love underwire bras. For me, they are more supportive and provide better shape (no, I don't mean the padded 'tshirt bras' just the regular ones). Anyway, I had given up wearing them the last few several years because they no longer fit right and were extremely uncomfortable, wires cut in under…

Thank you Ladybug

Well I met this goal...just barely at 159.8lbs but I'll take it! Went on a short vacation a couple days after posting the above and had a gain of almost 5lbs (water weight etc. I'm sure due to eating out the whole time) so it took a little longer than expected but not by much. Next mini goal? To bein the mid to lower 150's.
-
To get into the 150's, just over a pound to go.
-
That one day I would be walking around and suddenly notice that I felt like I forgotten my underwear, only to realize they are just too big. As I am usually wearing bike shorts/yoga pants etc. I didn't really notice until I went out in some loose fitting linen capris! 😳

A little over a week ago, I went to a reunion. I just realized that not only did I allow myself to be included in photos, I actually asked to have some taken. As someone who has avoided having my picture taken like the plague (for at least the last decade or so, age & weight both factoring in) this was a huge change…
-
Goal met, next mini goal is to maintain over the reunion weekend.

The calorie count is for the dry peanut butter so the calories are the same regardless of how much or how little water is added. I just measure my 2TBS of powder, add water to my preferred consistency and enjoy.
-
This!! I actually go for powdered organic chocolate peanut butter. At only 50 calories per 2TBS it is just the right treat. I enjoy it mostly with a sliced apple and usually make it on the thinner side and use it as a dipping sauce. Yum.
-
Would like to lose another 5-7lbs before a reunion May 20-21. Only 2lbs until I hit the 160's but would like to be comfortably in the mid 160's (well tbh wish I could be at goal, lol but that's still a bit far off).
-
That you lose weight in strange places not evenly on your body. I had this pair of shorts from over 10 years ago and decided to try them on just for fun. Surprisingly they fit but when I looked in the mirror there were these two twigs sticking out of the leg holes! What happened to my legs? I swear my thighs filled them…

Mini goal is to get out of the obese range and into the overweight range, less than a pound to go as of today (closest I've gotten) but been within 2-4 pounds for about a month doing the yo yo, hokey pokey.
-
Getting out of the obese category and into the overweight range...only 4lbs to go
