• I just signed up for my THIRD event with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT) and I love it! My first event was in 2011 and I did a half marathon in Anchorage, AK, 2nd was a full in Detroit, MI and next I'll be doing the San Diego Rock n' Roll and I have yet to determine if it'll be a full or half. Full…
• I used my Heart Rate Monitor once during sex and did count the calories but I didn't call it sex in my diary, I named it "Climbing Mt. Chad" hehehe
• Good luck on your C25K! You truly need to be fitted for running shoes and your local running store can help you there. After you're fitted they can tell you what type of shoe you need i.e. motion control, neutral, stability; and you can take that advise and search the net if the store isn't having any great deals on shoes.…
• I'll be running my 4th Jingle Bell Run this year in Northville, MI. Love to dress up for the occasion! I know this 5k allows walkers and there is the option of the 1 MIle fun run. Best of luck to you all on the run and on fundraising! -Lisa
• Had to edit my weigh in, I forgot the walking and swimming I did last week! Gotta count every minute! lol
• Quick weigh in. LW: 147.6 CW: 147.0 Water: weekend was better but not good fruit/vege: did good through the week, weekend not so much exercise: very lazy and logged 170min Good luck this week to everyone!
• Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and had a good Father's Day! I had my brother, niece & nephew in town for the weekend and we had a great time! Stats for this week are good and bad, good on weight loss bad on fruit/veges...again. LW: 149.6 CW: 147.6 Water: avg 8/day but really I drink most of my…
• I'm in a group called the Weight Loss Army on here and we weigh in every Monday, and Jen keeps a graph for us to see. We also have weekly challenges like 9 oz water/day, 6 servings of fruit/vege's per day and 210 min of exercise a week and we support each other for sure! Look for us and Good Luck w/your journey!
• Someone posted this website on another blog, thought some might get motivated by it to drink more water. http://www.dwlz.com/WWinfo/water.html Good luck all!
• Hello Army! Happy to report a loss even if it's one pound! I could do better if I could get my fanny exercising more. Anyway, the score for this week is: LW - 150.6 CW - 149.6 Water - avg 7/day, I don't drink enough on the weekends-gotta change that. Exercise - only got 187 min in this week. Lazy week of TOM, I find it…
• Great idea! I am one to not update all the info so this will be great and maybe more of a motivator to get the challenges met since we'll have to "show" our progress. You're doing a great job keeping us in line, thanks Sarge!!
• Best of luck on the P90x Journey!! My boyfriend lost 20lbs on it and is doing his second round although I think he looks great; he's wanting to shed a couple more lbs and build a bit more muslce. I did the cardio routine for a month and then I started running again and couldn't fit both in. I found the dvd's to go by…
•
Awesome!! Way to go Lisa! Fantastic job on the 10K..you should feel proud!!
Thanks Much! It really feels good to know I can accomplish such a feat! I started running just 2 years ago, it certainly is a calorie burner!
• Happy Monday Troops! I hope the weekend was good to you all. I'm weighing in today at 150.6, a slight gain but can I blame it on TOM coming this week? lol I'm not feeling bad that my bar hasn't moved much this week because I succeeded in beating a goal I set for myself this weekend. I ran a 10k on Saturday and had a goal…
• Weighing in from a nice long weekend of sun and fun! Can't complain but nothing to rave about either. Current Weight is 150.4lbs, but after 2 bbq's I guess I should be happy it didn't go up, up, up... Have a fabulous week everyone!
• Do you weigh yourself the same time every time? I think that makes a difference and I weigh myself everyday but just don't put too much emphasis on it. I know how fast it can change. Best of luck losing those last 2.6lbs! It's all about calories in, calories out so get out and rock out some calorie burns! GOOD LUCK!!
• Hmmm... so I guess exercising has A LOT to do w/losing weight. Ugh. Today's weigh in reflects the fact that I didn't get in my cardio this past week. But, armed with this knowledge motivates me to kick it in gear! Today's weigh-in is 152.0lbs, up from last week-boo! :( Here's to a new week! Good luck to all!
• Looks like you were a Warrior this weekend! Great Job fighting the temptations!
• A new week and it's enough to make ya smile! Last week was TOM week so no loss, this week I'm down to 151lbs. Good luck to everyone with another fabulous week of losing!
• Congratulations!! From a treadmill to trail, that's not easy and a great time as well! I'm still running 12min miles 2 yrs later, but at least I'm running. The high after a race is addicting! I'm sure you're ready for your next. I wish you the best of luck on your next challenge and now you know you can do it!
• The Weekend Fight! They're always so hard for me and I found this snippet and wanted to share. "In general, I think we tend to eat out more on the weekend, and find ourselves in situations where temptation is going to be lurking around every corner. Do your best to maintain control. Be a weekend warrior (for lack of a…
• Well, my first week back to MFP and no weight lost but that's no big deal. I've added fruits/vege's that I wasn't getting so there is a bright side. I can't say I did well on eating over the weekend but those PMS cravings are a killer! Last week: 154lbs Current:154lbs Water: Goal achieved (if not exceeded)…
• Best of luck to everyone to have a fabulous weekend and stay on the weight loss track. Today I had a hard day staying away from my enemy - chocolate - but I ran to get extra calories and I'm in like Flynn! Enjoy your weekend! Lisa
• Simple - I love it!! I hate to cook. Sounds delicious and can't wait to make it.
• I think my line is hiding behind another on the graph. I guess I'll have to keep up so I can come out from behind. Hope everyone is having a good day!
• Good Morning Troops! Found this quote and thought I'd share: "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going." Best wishes in creating good habits and breaking the bad!
• The water challenge is gonna be an easy one, exercise challenge sounds easy enough but it's getting off the couch that's the really hard part! Now 6 fruits/vege's is gonna be a big challenge for me but I will take that challenge and adapt and overcome! But as of 4:35pm on Monday afternoon, I've managed to consume only 2…
• Is it too late to join the Army? I've re-committed myself to being healthy and I'm looking for motivation! CW: 154lbs GW: 145lbs My goal weight is really just a number to throw out there, what I really want is to lose inches and stop giggling! lol I plan on working out every day combining running, strength and yoga. I'll…
