blondie76 – I’m happy to hear that you are on track this week! That’s fantastic! Walking to work? Good on ya. I’m sure we’ll see positive results this week.
bowbee – I think it looks great too! I love seeing the hard work pay off over the long haul!
So, I started doing C25K a couple of months ago and I was doing really great. Then life jumped in the way and then the weather turned to crap (excuse after excuse after excuse), long and short, I stopped. I really want to get back into it. I’m thinking, it’s beautiful outside, ¾ of the house work for the day has been completed and it’s only noon. Maybe I’ll start after today after the girls wake up from their nap. Wish me luck!0 -

OH!! Good Luck Jenn!
I hope you got a chance to start again! I just started again last week ( for the 2nd time after a short stint last year) and over the weekend I kinda tweeked my back when I went for a hike last Sunday, so i haven't been a able to go into week 2 yet. I'm really going crazy waiting but know that I have to make sure I'm 100% before I start up again or I will be out for longer than a couple days. Definitely don't want that so I'm trying to be good!!0 -
The Weekend Fight! They're always so hard for me and I found this snippet and wanted to share.
"In general, I think we tend to eat out more on the weekend, and find ourselves in situations where temptation is going to be lurking around every corner. Do your best to maintain control. Be a weekend warrior (for lack of a better phrase).
I find that in the health conscious world we live in, 9 times out of 10, whenever a food temptation is present, a healthy alternative is present as well, even if we have to look a little harder to find it. Travel with an apple, some almonds…..whatever it takes. Sounds a little corny I know……but, trust me……you will feel sooooo good, when you begin a new week and realize that you have continued to lose weight throughout the weekend……or even just maintained your weight. Our mini goal, or desired weight is the “light at the end of the tunnel”, not the weekend."
So best of luck to you all this weekend in keeping up the good fight!0 -

This is definitely gonna be my test this weekend! I'm going out of town for my daughter's swim meet this weekend. This will be the 1st time since I started this journey (AGAIN!!) 8~) that I will have many temptations and not the easy access of healthy foods stocked in my fridge from home.
I have prepared myself with a cooler full of nutritious things, which is the norm since we have to have good foods for her to fuel up on throughout her meet but the snack bars at these things always have tons of junk, too.
I will stay clear of those and make good choices if we eat out at restaurants. I will not have access to the computer so I will have to bring the ol' journal to log all my daily food intake.
I'm working too hard to start blowing it now! I will let you all know how it goes on Sunday night when I get back. Lisa, I'll try my best to be that weekend warrior!!!0 -
Weigh-in tomorrow everyone! I'm down right nervous about it to be honest. Oh well, positive thinking, it's going to be ok.
Can't wait to see how everyone did!0 -
Good morning everyone!!! My week wasn't spectacular. I didn't lose much, but I made it through without gaining. I like that I feel accountable here and that it stops me from making unhealthy choices over the weekend when I know that I will have to answer to all of you.

I'm down 0.6lbs. Nothing big, but a loss is a loss and it's my TOM This is my birthday week, I guess I should say month but I don't want to give myself that much room for damage. My goal is to do great this week and enjoy a yummy bday dinner out Thursday, then back on track again. I'm hoping to have a 1lb loss next week. I've been doing better with fruits, veggies and water AND even getting in my exercise. I'm not where I want to be so I will step it up as much as possible this week. Hope everyone has a great week!0 -

Down 0.6 pounds for me. I'm getting frustrated with these smaller losses but I'm in the middle of the healthy BMI range and within 6 pounds of my goal weight.
Current weight: 125.80 -
No changes this week
Didn't do so hot on my water each day, but I did start to exercise0 -

So we're down a few bodies today and that makes me sad but I suppose that's what happens. A huge thank you to all of you for sticking it out for as long as you have! I truly couldn't be doing this without you!
pressica – Congrats on your loss, you should be very proud! You are doing so well!
melbhall – Well we can certainly tell that you are back on the wagon! Happy birthday in 2 days!!
chgraham – I think indulgence every once and awhile is a great thing! Great job on your loss this week!
enromero – 4 pounds! Holy moly! Look at you go? Or should I say, where did you go!? Hee hee
blondie76 – WOOOOO HOOOOO!! Keep it up, well, down!
barty – What charity was your walk for? Good on ya! Nice work on the loss!
metfanlisa – I think everyone had their TOM last week, to funny! Great work!
aprilchampalmer – Hey, I hope all is well, we’re here for you if you need to vent.
bowbee – My goodness, you’re doing fabulous!
allislefttogain – I dream of being in the healthy BMI range one day, that’s something to be very proud of! I’ve heard from a lot of people that it gets a lot harder to lose the closer you are to your goal. Don’t get discouraged. I know you can do it!
sweet148angel – Good on you for being able (and honest) to point out where you might have faltered this week. I’m sure you are going to rock it next week!
Well recruits I’m sad to say that I had a slight gain this week. To be honest I’m not surprised after my 3.5 pound loss last week.

So, quick question for everyone. What’s something fun that you are striving for, that’s driving you? Everyone has some very serious reasons why they want to get fit but I’m sure we all have a fun reason in the back of our heads too.
Mine is to fit into my favourite dress again. I bought this adorable strapless black dress about 5 years ago and I only got a chance to wear it once. I felt like a million dollars in that dress and I’ve never seen another one like it. I really regret not wearing it more but I know that I’ll wear it again one day.0 -
Thanks Jenn, I am so excited, I love my new line color!! This is really the only thing going for me right now, I live for Mondays! lol.
I am doing this for summer, Hopefully, I can go show off to people I have not seen in a long time! lol, but rerally doing this for me!
Thanks again Jenn!

Well, tonight I decided to try on my wedding dress...I got married last march and since then my weight has just went up and up and up. I was SHOCKED to find that my dress not onlys fits but it was a lil big! I was sooo excited! My husband however is very supportive but he didnt think I was that "big" when I started MFP 2 1/2 mon ago. So he didnt really share with me in the joy I felt when he zipped it up and it was a lil loose!
I just had to share this with someone and didnt want to make a new thread over something so small, but I want to think u ladies for helpin keep me motivated to loose weight!!

Thanks Jenn, i did my charity walk for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, they do a fantastic job and this walk is their main fundraising event!!! I live on the Isle of Wight in the UK and the walk is called Walk The Wight and its 26.5 miles long from one side of the Island to the other.....we only did the half walk 15 miles, as we had the children with us (thats our excuse but we did do the long half!!!).

hey...thanks...my husband and i are seperating and with all the stress of it, i ate like a frickin pig over the weekend but was surprised to see that im only 136 (which was a 2 pound gain from last week but i think that 134 was a fluke honestly...). so, im happy with that!...so-
starting weight, 150
current weight 136. Still a 14 pound loss so im happy. Not only that but i have lost several inches off my entire body...and for the first time IN MY LIFE, i have gone BELOW the 30 inch mark on my waist and am 29 1/2 INCHES!!!!!!!!!!! I am STOKED!!!!! cant wait to see more improvement.
oh and what im striving for is number one, to look DAMN good in a bikini this summer and to wear a creme colored suit that i havent been able to wear for several years!!!!! And im close...im able to get it zipped up half way!0 -
