I hit a plateau, and am still on it, when I hit the 20 pounds lost mark. I've been here for 2 1/2 month! I'm going crazy!
-
Official Friday morning weigh-in is: 196.2 which means I gained a pound last week. I can't seem to start losing again. I get on losing and regaining the same couple of pounds. Frustrating!

SW: 225 MFP SW: 215 CW: 196 GW: 135 Goals for the next 3 months are to bust through this plateau I've been in. I would like to lose 15 pounds and log EVERY morsel of food that goes into my mouth. I would also like to fit in more exercise in the morning which means getting my lazy butt out of bed when the alarm goes off at…

I teach high school freshman. Many of the grils love him. I always tell them that he is the one person who when I see him, I want to hit him.

The ones with no singing. ;)

I am having a cannelini bean salad today. I made it up earlier this week and it was enough for 4 days. I got the recipe off a post here on MFP. You can search for it if it sounds good to you! I'm having it with pita chips and a plum.

I'll do a litle better introduction. I'm 33, a full-time high school social studies teacher and I have a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. I have lost about 20 pounds since joining (35 since the birth of my daughter) but since recovering from Lyme Disease this summer my weight loss has stalled. I would like to lose…

Great idea! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and I work full-time as a teacher. The support would be lovely!

I told everyone I was turning 34 this year. Turns out, I'm only 33! My initial reaction is to tell people I'm 25. Must have been a good year for me. :)

Broccolini and broccoli rabe, too.

I love it! My kids went through a stage like that....

My son used to take off his sock and put his goldfish crackers in it. Portable snack! :)

$250 a week for four of us...I cook overly elaborate meals and enjoy every bite!
-
I even use 10 pounders for some of the exercises.

Sick child this week have caused me to fall off the wagon a little. He's all better know. I need to get in my last 1.4 miles tomorrow!

sounds fantastic! I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!

You can freeze them! Just unthaw when you want to make banana bread. Also, banana bars with cream cheese frosting.. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/frosted-banana-bars/detail.aspx Use low fat replacements and make your own frosting and spread it then. You can also use some whole wheat or white whole wheat flour. They turn out…

I struggle with this on a daily basis. I am a teacher and a mom of two young kids. If I don't get out of bed to exercise at 5:00 AM, I miss my opportunity. My suggestion: put you alarm clock across the room so you have to get up to turn it off. Also, think about slowly easing into it by adjusting your going to bed and…

The best way is to invest in a HRM with a chest strap. If you don't have one, most people log 30 Day Shred as circuit training.

Alright, I went running this morning for 3 miles before I even knew what the challenge was! Yah! Got that one down. The push up one will be great for me...I don't like doing weight training! Thank for doing this!

I usually buy my kids the Stonyfield Yogurt tubes. They love them! But, they didn't have any the last time I went shopping so I bought them Simply Gogurt...gross! They don't even like them! Fage is the best yogurt, IMHO.

I ate a ton of sugar snap peas that last few days when I found myself foraging for a snack. Bell pepper strips and celery, too. Oh, and cucumber slices!

That made me laugh. That is also why I have to double check all the toilet seats in my house before sitting on them and why I sometimes have what I like to call "A subtle musk of urine" in my bathrooms...have to disinfect the floors weekly!

I have the Polar FT4. I do think it is more accurate but I just realized that even since I started using its calorie burned total, I haven't lost any weight. So, I'm thinking I just need to add in an extra 100-200 calories for my daily calorie goal.
-
I think it just takes more effort for me to get my heart rate up from years and years of running. I''ll be dripping sweat but my burn will be so little....I need to start working our for an hour, too. That will help with the calorie burn!

My numbers on the HRM are always lower (substantianlly lower) than the machines and MFP database estimates.

The first one!
