I was 58kg in August, I'm 53kg now. So that averages around to 0.3kg per week. Slow and steady ^_^

Yeah, I agree dawnna, if it isn't there, you won't eat it, and when you're in stores/shopping you just say to yourself "no" and walk off and firmly stick to your shopping list. (I only ever do this with food I KNOW I will binge on.)

ugh me too, I bought a 400g jar of nutella on Sunday and I've already nearly finished half fnsjfdfjsndj. I need motivation but seeing as I have only 1-2lbs left to lose I feel so complacent ._.

Actually they could truly believe that they are "fat" - ever heard of Body dysmorphic disorder?

The whole "oh you're lucky you can eat whatever you want and stay skinny" "you're not eating enough" "you have a fast metabolism"
-
Do you guys ever go on 'diet' breaks, like I have around 2-3kg left to lose, and sometimes for a week I'll just eat maintenance calories and then go back to eating at a deficit the next week. (I'm going to also do this week beginning 22nd December so I can enjoy the holidays ^^) I know it slows down weight loss, but I find…

Don't blame your slow metabolism for being 1000kg overweight

I spend £100 a month just including me

I get catered meals so I don't cook but here's tonights dinner! Macaroni cheese with salad and ketchup, and a chocolate cake with icing. Not sure about the nutritional value but I'm guessing 750kcal for the whole meal.

Thank you for reading! Thank you :) Thank you very much ^_^ Thank you! You too :)

Thank you very much! No, I completely agree with you. As lovely as my parents are, they are not very educated in terms of nutrition and weight loss - but through my experience I'm helping them adopt a healthier lifestyle! (My dad has already reduced his blood pressure and my mother has finally got normal iron levels :) )

You could have a decent sandwich for the same amount of calories and actually be happy about it so...

heyy short people unite, I'm 157cm so... I feel the pain

lol it's not confusing, it's simple. you eat something, you add an entry. And if your excuse is 'Having to add everything up is taking away time to eat more' you need to sit down and reflect on where your priorities are. If you want to continue eating lots then deal with the weight gain, if not then quit making silly…

Hmm you're right! Thanks so much lovely

I used to eat around 1200 a day. It was cool and it worked, but now I find myself about 2kg from my goal weight I slowly increased my calorie goal to 1300-1400. But whatever works for you depending on your lifestyle and measurements

You don't need to give it up, just buy it in moderation and eat it in moderation. For example, if I buy 2 large galaxy bars I'll probably finish them off in less than a week. So instead I buy smaller individually wrapped chocolates that I can eat without binging.

I have always pretty much been an 'average' weight until College where I put on almost 8kg (I know, don't kill me.) Then I went abroad, became sick, lost a lot of weight, and felt a lot more comfortable being thinner. But I knew I hadn't lost the weight healthily sooo I joined MFP to make sure I could maintain my weight…

Recording what I eat and trying to be as accurate as I can - not "oh but I think this meal is 500 calories" Walking at least 10,000 steps a day because every little helps  Realising that I don't have to give up chocolate, sweets, and things I like - I just need to make sure I save up calories for treats every now…

Oh I see, I didn't quite understand all the BMR and TDEE stuff before. Thank you, I will take your advice :)

Ah I see, I don't have the app on my phone but thank you so much! Now I feel less panicked about my binge looool
