I'm not eating any processed foods or any fast foods...So far today I've had a soy yogurt cup, a grapefruit, a glass of juice, and a granola bar....and I'm STILL hungry and it's ony 10:30 am!

I've been really good and staying within my recommended ranges, but I am still feeling a great deal of hunger. It seems like I'm ALWAYS hungry and looking at the clock to see how close I am to the next meal/snack. I'm 2 weeks in...is this going to quit soon? Will my body quit crying about it's loss of junk? help!! :frown:

That's funny! I'm celebrating 1 year of quit smoking this week (yea me!! :bigsmile: )and when I smoked, my excuse for not quitting was fear of gaining weight. My kids pointed out that was pretty logical; at least I would look good in my coffin! LOL

I had someone just this morning catch me as I was checking the nutrional content on a bag of peanuts. She said, "I can tell you right now without even looking, they're fattening. They're peanuts! Duh" How rude! They're better than that candy she has on her desk! She's one of those people who have never had a weight problem…

I discovered a wonderful "feels-too-good-to-be-true" lunch this weekend: Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich: 400 calories, 50 carbs, 34 fat, 22 protien. Smucker's natural creamy peanut butter and smucker's simply fruit strawberry on whole wheat! :smile: YUMMMY!! I felt like I was being bad...but I wasn't!

I'm SO jealous! My daughter and I went for the first time last spring. I loved EVERYTHING. The Lion King was my favorite. Be sure you PLAN your daily activities or you'll be too overwhelmed to see a lot.

thanks! So true, people DO pressure us sometimes. It was embarassing, really, because the girl serving made a BIG deal out of me saying no--and not in a supportive way, either. It was quite rude really.

Wow! That's great information! I didn't realize that excess protein would be stored as fat. I suppose I need to keep an eye on that number too. ....and I suppose I'll have to increase my activity a little bit today to help out with my excess.

I tend to go over on my protein intake...will that hurt my success? I'm staying at or below all of the other categories. I always thought the more protein the better. Am I wrong?
