  • I got my Wii Fit for my birthday 2 weeks ago and I'm obsessed! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! I am constantly checking my "balance" when I walk or stand (wii fitters will understand that). My daughter and I do 45 min a day on the game and I can really see a difference in the way I look AND feel.
  • Right before I turned 40, I broke my ankle and the weight started to pile on. 5 years later, I'm 40 lbs heavier. I'm tired of being disgusted with myself. PLUS--I have a grandbaby coming in November, and I don't want her to see me fat!
  • What great pictures!! And such a beautiful family--all 3 of you are gorgeous!!

  • I LOVE old houses but they are a LOT of work! Don't forget about all those exercise calories you earn though! My kids and my husband bought me a spa gift certificate for my birthday and tomorrow that's what I'll be doing! I'm really excited. I've never gotten a full spa treatment before!
  • You can work those kids right into an exercise routine and their play becomes your workout! When my kids were little, we used to have about an hour of "music" time every day. We danced and got a great deal of aerobic activity in without even feeling like it.
  • yea!! Good for you!!
  • don't let him take your self esteem--really. You are wonderful and beautiful and you have beautiful babies. What he has is superficial and most likely temporary. You are on the path to the most you've ever been! Good for you, girl!!
  • This is WONDERFUL!! I know you must be on cloud 9!! Way to go!!!!!!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • Just forgive and forget and start fresh. You probably didn't do nearly as bad as you think. I got back from vacation on Monday. Weighed on Tuesday and had gained 2 pounds--BUT, I weighed today and had lost 3 pounds...I think that I shook things up and it actually was a good thing to mess up. Does that make sense?
  • OMG it's true  ...... Actually, this sounds like a good movie, huh? You should keep a diary and turn it into a romantic comedy. Wow, huh? Congratulations!!

You should see the blog…

  • I have lots of tomatoes, but I don't care for them raw. I do like them cooked however. Does anyone know some healthy recipes that would help me out?
  • I'm back from Louisiana and I was bad too :frown: I didn't log anything either and I gained 2 pounds  BUT....I'm going to be good now.
  • There is an old historic town about 45 min from where your going to be...Natchitoches. It has a pretty cobblestone streets and shops to browse in. I may check that out. Isn't that the Steel Magnolias town?
  • Wow! It's a small world, huh? My husband's sister has a cabin on the lake and we're staying there. Anything fun to do in Many or near by?
  • A weekend trip to Many, Louisiana to visit family and play on the lake!

  • Molasses is high in iron and really yummy on toast/peanutbutter  I cook with iron skillets and that helps a little bit. Here are some tips I just found online...very interesting. Vitamin C enhances iron absorption from plant sources -- drink orange juice with iron-rich foods. Tea with meals can act…
