Do the 5k like a C25k workout :happy: walk a few min, run for a minute, walk for a few minutes, run for a minute..... Only worry about two things: FINISHING, and not coming in dead last. You'll do fine!:drinker: PS- if it's getting HARDER for you, back track a week. I've had to do that.

I would get it checked out as well. If Dr says its OK to walk/run, get one of those stretchy ankle brace things and wear that- it will help.

I love my fruity cheerios, chocolate cheerios, and life cereal...I used to eat stuff like Cookie Crisp and Cocoa Puffs...so at least that's progress, right? LOL

Well, I'm the one who buys, hauls, and cooks the food...so they eat what I provide, or starve. Although, Im having a bit of a rough time getting the hubby and kids to eat clean....we've made some progress but they still gripe about a lot of stuff.

I spend $150-200 per week for 5 people, 3 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs. This includes food, household items, clothes, etc. Everything except car stuff and my hobbies. I don't think you'll drop below an 18 until you get UNDER 200 lb. I've lost 12 lbs, I am at 198 right now and I still wear an 18 in some things.

Yes, slow down. I've been at it off and on since APRIL and was forced just recently to start over again. I might complete the damn program in a year. My running pace is typically 4 mph. I was doing 5 mph last week and THRILLED, but that's still too fast for me.

I know a lot of people wear compression shorts because I guess they don't ride up. I run in the running skirts with the built in shorts. They start out good and after about 10 minutes die up. I make sure to use the Monistat anti chafing gel so at least Im not in pain, or starting a fire from the friction :laugh:

I saw it last night. I's an anti seizure medication, and the major side effect of it was weight loss. Of course, no long term effects are known...Too scary for me.

Im not sure I get it entirely. But I listened to a Fat2Fit Radio podcast tonight and they said NOT to eat the calories back. I look at it as a bit of a safety net- if I've worked out then I have those extra calories I an eat if I'm starved. :bigsmile:
