They could mean, that although the ingredients are certified organic they still may be gmo. It sounds pretty clean to me though.

My understanding of clean eating is like eating how my grandparents ate.... Before science made a better tomato. So, non gmo, preferably organic fruit and veg, homemade preserves, grass fed beef, eggs from the chook pen, and shop food was gotten once a month. Then I googled clean eating and gluten is the devil and…

My now sil was paying for my matron of honour dress. It was 3 dress sizes smaller than I was at the time. I told her to buy it if she wanted me to wear it and that I was willing to lose the weight. I had 10 months... AND SHE BOUGHT IT! Gosh I cursed myself... At the time of the wedding I had lost 2 dress sizes and she'd…

Have you already joined the gym? Before I joined the gym, I started walking daily, just to form the habit of exercising daily. Then I started swimming, because I was getting quite sore from walking. Kept up the routine for 3 months before committing to a gym membership. When I joined the gym I spoke to a pt about my goals…

I weigh myself once a fortnight and update my weight on mfp every 2 months. I found that I self sabotage when I weigh myself more often. Besides, my clothes tell me how I'm doing.

Well I really wanna say the best way to eat porridge is with brown sugar and cream... on buttery toast - ohhhh I miss the good old days. I made some granola yesterday and it was good. As for porridge, I've gotten into the habit of just milk. No sugar. No toast. And I'm glad winter is leaving.
-
I had heard about granola before, but had never tried it. I read through some recipes and thought it sounded like muesli clusters which I like very much. I had a crack at making some yesterday. 3c oats (quick because I didn't have traditional) 2c nuts (macadamias n pecans chopped) 1c dates (chopped) 1/3c maple syrup 1/3c…

This sounds good.

As a snack I have 10-12 almonds per day. Macadamias, about 8. Pecans, 4. I do one choice of nut per day. I find macadamias good for when I'm craving fatty foods, almonds when I want salty food. I don't do nut butters. I bake with coconut flour. If I have a piece of baking, then I wont have any nuts that day. It is…

We have a $12 a week budget for food. I hit the clearance bins at vege shops and I wait for the offal to go on clearance at supermarkets. I then do a big cook up and freeze. For me, at $12 I care more about nutritional value than taste... It's just as well I like offal.

bugger. I was hoping to find some tried and trusted eggplant recipes on mfp too. I like them, I just don't know what to do with them. Yes I googled how to cook eggplant, but they just don't look like the wonderfully char-marked pictures.... Oh well, keep trolling

Eating a few nuts generally helps me when I'm wanting to overdose on sugar. Otherwise I blend a frozen banana with a bit of raw cacao. Works for me

What an awesome deal! Sure pays to shop around

I live in Australia, and I go to a local fruit n vege shop and hit the clearance bin. I have gotten beetroot for 9cents/kilo to brocolli for 50cents/kilo. Obviously they're not first grade quality. I then spend the day making soup and vege loafs. If I spend around $10, I will get 28 x500ml containers of soup, 2 vege loafs…

My household loves takeaways and I wish I could but my tummy just wont allow it and some things just arent worth the agony. As far as hubby's concerned the shopping hasn't been done unless there is bread and jam in the fridge, and for me, the shopping hasn't been done unless there is bowl of fruit and a bowl of salad veges…

I been wanting a laptop lunchbox for some time, so I bought a 'sistema lunch cube - 1.4L' for $4.50 from my local supermarket (in Australia). I'm looking forward to using it in the summer months.

Hi all, my name is Amelia. I'm 38. I haven't really struggled with my weight because I just didn't care tbh.... and now I have agreed to drop 4 dress sizes (about 20kgs) by april next year, I will admit I am struggling. The mindset of happily being a glutton is a difficult concept to undo. I love food. I love alot of food.…

lol. I started eating breakfast this year after 20 0dd years of never eating breakfast. Some days I wouldn't have my first meal until 10pm at night and some days I just wouldn't eat because I didn't feel like it. I started off really slowly... Having breakfast once a week - didn't like it because I'd gorge the rest of the…
