I like to sub ground turkey into this Chicken Lettuce Wraps recipe. Because you use lettuce instead of bread to wrap, it keeps the calories low. And it's SO good! http://damndelicious.net/2014/05/30/pf-changs-chicken-lettuce-wraps/

I'm so glad you liked them! Think I'll be making these again this week myself :)

Thanks for all the input! I think I am going to stick to what I've been doing for now. It is rare that I don't crave carbs, so if I can get away with eating more protein and fewer carbs for now, I might as well go with it. I'm sure the carb cravings will kick back in before i know it :)

I made these for dinner last night, too. So good! I par-baked the bell peppers a little so they wouldn't be crunchy when they were done. I also sauteed the onions and mushrooms in a little chicken broth and olive oil instead of butter. They satisfied that craving for an actual cheesesteak without the gigantic bread roll…

Fresh grape leaves are even more divine than jarred!

I am Lebanese, and one of my favorite Lebanese dishes uses grape leaves (they do taste good!). If you've ever had Greek-style dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with rice, mint, etc and served cold), these are a bit similar but they use meat and are served hot. The filling includes rice, ground beef or lamb (turkey or chicken…

I adore tempeh! I have never thought it tastes bitter like some people do, but I assume it's like cilantro where some people love it and others think it tastes like soap :) I like to crumble tempeh, sautee in olive oil, add a ton of shredded or chopped veggies (onion, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, garlic, etc.) and then…
