I love Reddit for cheap recipes. Eat Cheap and Healthy is my favorite. https://www.reddit.com/r/EatCheapAndHealthy/

These are really good. I usually add a bit of honey, almond butter and cinnamon.

I like sriracha mayo. It's cheap to make.

From experience, I tend to binge when I'm doing too much at once and/or my calories are far below what I should be eating. If I completely took out all the things I used to enjoy eating, I would binge. Unfortunately, it took me years to realize it's not the food causing the weight gain, it's how much of it I eat.

Part of success is failing, learning from that failure and applying what you've learned the next time around. You aren't nothing. You're a human being capable of doing anything you want. If you think you're nothing, then that's true to you. Of course you can't change your entire thought process in a day, so start small. Do…

I do all my cooking on Sunday and just reheat everything throughout the week. What I usually make: * Chicken breast (I usually pan fry and dice and throughout the week, make burritos, chicken salad, nachos, etc.) * Soup (wonton, chicken & dumpling, vegetable, whatever I'm in the mood for) * large salad mix (spinach,…

I do that all the time. I usually skip breakfast, so I can have a nice lunch and dinner, and I always have room for dessert. If I eat in the morning, I tend to snack too much.

Goals this week:* Walk to work everyday * Drink water! * No eating out this week Keeping it simple this week. My walk this morning was great, and I hope to have another successful week.

In that situation, I would pre-log everything. If I'm in the mood to get a snack, I immediately go to MFP and make sure it fits in with my calories for the day. If it does, yay! If it doesn't, then I don't eat it. Much easier said than done, but I think knowing how many calories you're consuming beforehand helps with…

Italian, I am so sorry for your loss. Goals this week:* Walk to work everyday * Drink 100 oz. of water everyday * No eating out (this is more about spending than health, but hey, it works) Three positive attributes:* I am able to look at things objectively and understand different points of view. * I can see the positive…

Goals this week:* Walk to work everyday and walk during my lunch * Stay within my calorie goal * Drink at least 64 oz. of water everyday One NSV I've had so far that is huge for me is that I realized how consistent I am. It was so hard forming these habits, and I've spent almost a year working really hard at this. One that…

High: it's a the day weekend, and my boyfriend is off with me! Our schedules are so different, and I miss him. We're going to be crazy active and enjoy our time together. Low: probably walked too much the last few days. I'm limping a bit.
-
High: overall, I'm having a great week. Walking everyday and getting around 15,000 steps a day. I'm also eating really well. Low: Friday slump. I was dragging a little during my morning walk, but I picked up speed about ten minutes in.
-
High: I'm feeling energetic and well rested today. Yesterday, I took my dog on a loooong walk at the park and reached 20,000 steps. Low: there isn't one. It's a good day.
-
High: great walk this morning, and I'm leaving in a half hour for another walk Low: in general, I just feel really lethargic... though I guess this is a high, because I'm going out and doing it anyway.
-
High: reaching 10,000 steps after lunch and drinking a lot of water Low: very sluggish

I agree about the cilantro. Instead of omitting the garlic, roast it (I'll roast the jalapenos sometimes too) or even use some garlic powder instead. It's really good. I also agree on the lime juice. I probably use way too much, but I love the addition of limes to guacamole.

Goals this week:* Walk to work everyday * Drink 4 bottles of water everyday * Bring lunch to work everyday Hi: my co-worker texted me the morning and joined me during my morning walk to work. It was really nice to have someone with me. Low: my leg pain is horrible Last night, I made a banana, peanut butter and chocolate…

I am having the period from hell. I am tired all the time, incredibly bloated and craving everything crunchy. This hasn't been the best of weeks, but I've walked to work four times this week and though I only took one lunch walk, I am excited for the weekend. I plan on taking my dog for a very long walk. I also forgot my…

Goals this week:* Walk to work everyday * Refill my water bottle four times * Bring my lunch everyday (with the exception of today since I left my lunch at home) * Walk everyday during lunch * Spend an hour at the end of each day doing something I really enjoy (reading, writing, etc.)

Today is 300 days on MFP and ten months since my last binge. I'm very proud of my progress.

A little late this week, but I've reached most of my goals. I walked to work everyday, though my water intake could improve. Today, I plan on walking home, and it's more out of necessity since Obama is in town and all bus routes are delayed. I feel very lucky in my life to have little stress. I try to do things everyday…

Mini goal: I am happy that I took three walks today. Usually I can only fit in my walk to work, but I took a long walk at lunch and a co-worker invited me to walk with her during a break.

Thanks so much, Italian_Buju :) I'm glad to be back. I'd love to go fishing. craftscout, one of my co-workers is a single mom going to school part time. I don't know how she does it, but I admire her. Today, I'm proud of myself for not giving up. For the past couple months I've dealt with constant injuries, but I'm pushing…

I was more emotional months into losing weight, mostly in a good way. I mainly felt overwhelmed when I first starting tracking my meals and exercising. I sometimes felt too anxious to eat and worried that I was eating the wrong things or that I wouldn't progress. Looking back, I realize that was natural. I was forming new…

On the 9th, I celebrated eight months of no binging. I can't believe how far I've come. I have really difficult days/weeks/months, but I feel like I'm doing really well. I last almost three months on my home cooking challenge. I think I was three days away. I saved a lot of money, and it made the experience of eating out a…

When I first started walking to work, two miles took about fifty minutes. A few months ago, I shaved off a lot of time and went down to 37 minutes. Today: 34 minutes. I felt so out of breath walking over the bridge, but I am really proud of myself for pushing. I'm excited about going hiking on Sunday. I haven't gone in…

I know a few people who have successfully completed C25K at 300 pounds. They never mentioned any issues while completing the program other than the usual complaints. I started it but had issues with my leg. It wasn't until I joined the C25K group on here that I understood my problem. I was trying to run faster than I was…

Hope you get some walking in today, Skittles. FloraJL, I hope your knee feels better soon. I'm proud of you for pushing yourself though! Challenges like that unfortunately include people who are mainly in it for the money. That's not healthy at all. My leg feels so much better. No pain at all during my walk to work this…
