I'm 5'7, 200lbs and eating under 1400 per day (or trying to). Sometimes I go over a bit, but other days I'm in the green, so it evens out for me. I'm trying to lose 50lbs before July 2019 (wedding month). I have a sedentary desk job and I'm working out 2-3 times per week. Any advise to reach my goal would be helpful. I'm…

It comes down to this: You need to expel more calories than you are taking in. Studies show that exercise doesn't do jack *kitten* without a nutrition aspect. EAT WELL. And by well I mean, don't be stupid. Don't put crap into your body. No junk food. Absolutely NO fast food. Cut down meat to the size of your fist (that's…

UGG all you people whining that Vegetarians don't get enough protein/vitamins/etc, and are all carb loaders? Where the hell do you get this bullcrap info? Also, VEGAN's are the ones who don't consume any animal products (honey, dairy, eggs, etc) 'lacto-ovo vegetarian' is such an old term for just a plain-old vegetarian…

Also, there are cruelty-free farms. My dad owns one, totally USDA Organic and truly cage-free. The animals live a healthy life until it is time to "process" them, when they get the most pain-free death ever. I've even helped process chickens there before. (me, the vegetarian, peta-crazy girl). I support cruelty free farms.

I've been vegetarian for over 3 years (full-on) now and it's wonderful I don't miss meat at all and I feel better every day. And if you crave those chicken wings or a burger, there are Tons of vegetarian substitutes made from soy-protein or tofu. (and they're delicious!) I even have veggie bacon on my breakfast bagel every…

ALSO: every day your body shifts water weight around for various functions and excretion. You need to be drinking at least 6 cups of water per day to aid digestion and help the body function properly. And for every cup you excrete (pee or sweat) you need to replace that with fresh drinking water. Im not sure what it is for…

Ladies! Don't be discouraged if you don't see results in the first 2 weeks at all. This is because when you start a new diet and lower your calorie intake your body needs time to ADJUST. Your body is getting used to it's new level of fuel/energy and during that time you probably wont lose any weight. It works like this:…

BEST answer: Take your weight (lbs) x 2.69 (cal/min for a 1 hr class/workout) = how many calories you burned in that hour. Ex: 120lb x 2.69= 322 cal/hr 130 lb x 2.69= 350 cal/hr 150 lb x2.69 = 403 cal/hr 180 lb x 2.69 = 485 cal/hr. Hope that helps!!! The more you weigh the more cal you will burn. It might be more that…
