I'm Shannon (out of Ohio) and would love some new friends. I've been at this thing for awhile and just recently got back into the swing of things. If you're low carb or keto, that's a plus!

Strawberries and whipped cream. Freeze for about 15m to make it cold like ice cream :). Add a couple chocolate chips or nuts for more flavor.

Exercise. Working so hard at the gym or outside helps me to stay on track eating wise. Also, eggs and bacon because they are so delicious and I can eat them everyday without feeling guilty.

I just restarted keto on Monday as well!

I've had several moments of disgust. I'm just hoping that my latest keeps me motivated. I've disliked my appearance for a long time now. I hate the way I feel when I walk, I hate how easy it is to lose breath from the slightest bit of physical exertion, how my fiancé and I barely do anything together because he loves to go…

Back to MFP after being gone for four months. Lost all of my motivating friends. Looking for new committed pals! I'm low carb and go to the gym 7 days a week.

Still on my journey but my rings won't stay on my fingers. I love tucking in my shirt in now. I go without a 'cover up' now because I no longer feel bloated. And I just feel better about myself. I love me again because I know I'm doing something to benefit my health. I look forward to summers. I've hated summers for so…

I found a very nice scale at Aldi's. It was $16. It measures weight, body fat, muscle mass, etc. (It has sensors on the bottom) You can also create a profile with your goal weight and it will determine how many calories you should consume daily in order to reach your goal weight. I've weighed myself a lot on this scale and…

I have the same problem. I'm down 32lbs total since I started in May and I don't see much of a difference. And I haven't had anybody really notice so it's frustrating. But I'm not going to let that distract me from my ultimate goal. I figure I'll start noticing when I'm 15 more lbs down. Try to think of it as a compliment.…

Thank you for asking this question. This happened to me at the end of last week. I had met my goal one day and then two days later I was up five pounds. I was completely depressed but I also thought there is NO WAY! So, I just watched my weight every day and now I'm back down. It took about four days. Now I know that when…

I wish you success! Your story is so moving and it reminds me of how precious life is. Blessings...

You look amazing! Great job! Good luck with maintenance. :)

I ran for 5 minutes straight without stopping last week! It made me so proud. It was a slow pace of 4.0 and I barely got to .4 miles but I'm still proud of myself. I just kept going! Normally, I'm exhausted after a minute no matter how fast I'm going. I'm just glad I'm progressing.

I've gotten rid of 19.8lbs total and I started noticing my ring falling off at around 10lbs. As someone mentioned in a previous comment, it was probably water weight. I think it's safe to say your fingers will go down.

Hello, my name's Shannon. On a journey to lose 100lbs (11 down so far). Add me and we can motivate each other and share ideas!

I have this problem, especially when it comes to weekends (which I'm still working on) For the evenings, I find that exhausting myself helps with my overeating. I get off work, go to the gym for 1 1/2-2 hours, shower, do my hair, cook, and eat. By the end of all that I'm hungry but exhausted as well. After dinner, I just…

You've done a great job! Keep it up! It looks like you and me started off around the same weight and have the same 'goal weight'. I started at 252.4 and am down to 235.6 (weigh in is tonight actually). I'm only 30 days in and your post definitely motivates me to continue.

Nice thread! Very motivational! There are so many things I can't wait to end when it comes to my weight. *arm fat ( I've never worn a tank top as a shirt because I hate my flabby arms and I love that look) *sweating! everywhere! and having to put powder on everywhere in order to somewhat control it *having to use my arms…

I helped my mom move yesterday and I was able to take boxes up and down the stairs repeatedly without getting winded. I even took the stairs two at a time and did squats on the landing since I couldn't make it to the gym. It felt great! Oh, and my size 18's that I just bought three months ago, no longer fit.

I've gained 40lbs since meeting my boyfriend 5 years ago. He's very tall and slim and I feel so big next to him and unattractive. He loves his fast food. He loves meaty, cheesy, greasy food and everything dipped in ranch and I would be right there beside him doing the same thing. He doesn't gain a single lb and I've gained…

Great job! Such an inspiration!

Hi, I'm Shannon. I can relate to what you're going through. For years I've started dieting and going to the gym only to fall off after a short period. I've only gained over the past five years instead of losing. This time feels totally different. I'm committed and can't wait until I see progress. I'm down 7.8lbs since I…

Add me too! I don't have any friends on here and I could really use the encouragement and support.
