  • I am on Week 4 day 1 right now :) I'd love to have a group to support each other!
  • I made banana ice cream. Cut up one banana into small pieces and freeze it over night. When you are ready to make your ice cream let it thaw a bit and then put it in the blender until it is smooth. I like to add a bit of unsweetened cocoa powder to give it a chocolate flavour. Then put it back in the freezer for a little…
  • Congrats! That is great progress!!! keep up the hard work girl :)
  • I can't answer the questions, but I can tell you that the worst tasting has to be the Vega Whole Health Food Optimizer Berry Flavour. I bought a tub of it and I can't even finish half. It is supposed to be wonderful for you but I can't stomach it. STAY AWAY!
  • I'm 5'3". I find that it is harder for us shorties to lose weight, or at least for it to be noticeable. I am just starting my weightloss journey and have about 20 pounds to go. I'm hoping to meet some new people who are in a similar positions as myself so that we can motivate each other! Mind if I add you as a friend?
  • I'd like to join! I have tried to do these challenges before and failed but this time I am really ready to do it. Feel free to add me I'd love to make some friends so we can all support each other. My goal is 8 pounds by Christmas Day :) Good luck to everyone, we can do it!
  • I am 5'3" and I weigh 126. I used to be 118 but I have gained weight since become obsessed with working out. My goal has always been 113. I am hoping to get there using MFP but I have started to use a paper journal to record my food so my diary is kind of spotty sometimes. I am trying to get back into it. I am set at 1200…
  • Thanks! I am now motivated to learn how to properly use free weights to get the most out of my work outs!
  • Thanks for all the replies! I am new to using weight machines, but I am pretty strong from body weight excercises already so should I continue with this? I am intimidated to try free weights or other machines because I feel like I don't know what I am doing. Does anyone have any recommendations of different things to try?…
  • I use it for homemade pumpkin spice lattes. Heat on stove top on medium in a small pot until steaming: 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (im lactose intolerant, so I use this but you could definitely use regular milk) 1 tbsp pumpkin puree 1 tbsp splenda ( can substitue for 1 tbsp of sugar or 2 drops of stevia) Then add to…
  • Thanks I'll check it out for sure! I just don't want to add too many calories to it in order to make it something I can drink. I was hoping 240 calories would tide me over until lunchtime :) I knew that was too good to be true.
  • Count me in! I'll have to start tomorrow since I already gobbled up Halloween chocolates today :(
  • Starting Weight: 127 Goal: 121 (6 pounds for extra motivation) I plan to: Work out at minimum 5 days a week. Drink 6 glasses of water (8 is too many for me, I need to work up to that). Stay under 1400 calories everyday, no excuses. Good luck everyone!!
  • I am the exact same way and I am starting to realize that I will never get to where I want to be unless I make changes to my eating habits. I would love some support so this seems like a great group!
  • Thanks for all the replies! I am trying to bring more healthy snacks with me so I can eat those. The worst part for me is that we always have a lot of food brought into the office (pastries, cookies, etc.) I have the hardest time avoiding those.
  • I wish they had these classes in the exercise database too! I hope it will happen soon!
  • The class uses a barbell and you choose your own weights. The instructor generally tells you what is considered light, intermediate and heavy. I try to stick to the heaviest intermediate range. The more weight you use (obviously ensuring it isn't too heavy that you had bad form) the higher your heart rate will get. I do…
  • I find pump much easier than attack or combat because you can choose your weights. I typically choose weights in the intermediate range and I feel it the next day. The first few classes it was hard to follow but if you let the teacher know you are new they will help you out, as does everyone in the class it seems (people…
  • I do Body Pump, Body Attack and Body Combat. I have tried most of the other LM classes but I did not find the workout was as intense. I usually log my workout for attack and combat using kick boxing. I work really hard during the class so I am not suprised if I burn about 500 calories.
  • I used to eat a fair bit of dairy but over the past 4 months I have developed a severe intolerance to anything lactose. I am 23 years old and have never had a problem with lactose before. I have been talking to friends and family and it seems like it is a lot more common that people think to develop this intolerance later…
