  • Just say 'no.' Honestly. My roomie thinks I ought to eat as much as he does and gets... not offended... more... guilty... when I take a smaller portion. Then he tries to get me to eat more because I'm 'starving' myself. *snort* As if. "No" and "No, thanks" and "No, I'm good" work fine for me.
  • All of them. (ok, maybe not the nutmeg) But probably not all together. What flavor are you going for? Personally I'd do rosemary, oregano, italian with just a touch of oil or just water for italian flavors, cumin, paprika, chili, or steak with the a1 or worchestershire for a more earthy (barbeque-ish) flavor, Ginger and…

  • It's a good motivator for me not to go 'into the red' so to speak.
  • Three cats: Hennessy (is my avatar), Disaronno (answers to 'Fluffy'), and Captain Two dogs: Kahlua (Lulu or Lulubelle are all she answers to) and Riot. In my defense, Hennessy and Fluffy are 'mine', Captain belongs to one roommate and Lulu and Riot belong to the other.

  • I'm 5'6" and lightly active... My calories are 1340. I don't exercise nearly as often as I ought to, lol. I'm set at two pounds a week.
  • When you enter food it ought to say 1.0 x 170 g.... Change the 1.0 to whatever 125/170 is.
  • Ha! Broke it this week... 208.2! Now my next goal is ONEderland by my birthday!
  • I would definitely look at where you're spending your calories. 12 tbsp cramer and a cookie could have ' bought' you much more filling food instead.
  • Apple? Carrot? String cheese? Actually your best bet is probably a big glass of water.
  • I can do this! But I don't pop my thumb out of place to do so.
  • I hate cucumbers, but I'll eat pickles... Heh... I have a friend that was unaware that calamari was squid and freaked out when she got the little whole squid rather than the bland little rings.
  • Mfp plans in a defecit for safe weight loss. That being .5 to 2 pounds a week. That calorie defecit is already there. Too much more and it begins to get unhealthy. If you exercise, however, you're more likely to lose fat than muscle and be healthier in the end.
  • My forst two weeks I lost a ton of weight, but it's all basically water you've ben holding for a long time. It evens out soon enough
  • You weighed more last night? After eating dinner and wearing clothing? That sounds right. Ten pounds may be excessive, but I've seen absurd weights at night. *shrug*
  • Eating more often works for me. Otherwise I gorge myself, feel ill, and then do it again a few hours later because I don't stay full.
  • I love to craft, sewing clothing mostly, but we (myself and my roommates) do a bunch of other stuff, making candles, art, I crochet periodically,
  • Too much sodium makes you retain water and raises your blood pressure. Too little isn't good either, however.
  • Acid destroys cells. So does base. Baking soda is a pH 9. Water OUGHT to be a 7, though 6 is still fine. Going in EITHER direction, too far to acidic or basic is not healthy.
  • Perhaps drink some water, but don't eat anything. You don't want to train your body that it's 'okay' to wake up and eat at that time of night.
  • Actually, that sounds about right, to me. Burning 1657 sitting about would, however, mean you could eat 1500 and lose weight, I believe....
  • I'd go with C, but with a different, more fitted jacket or bolero sweater, that sort of thing. The floral prints are very old-fashioned, to the point where my mother will not wear them. (I'm 27). I can't imagine if a 16 year old would like them or not. The cut on dress B looks the best on you, however, so if you want to…
  • I don't mind B&A pictures providing there IS underwear, male or female. I mean, if it's obviously the 'for the bedroom only' sort, that's a bit odd, but if everything's covered it's basically a swimsuit.
  • I keep my hair bound into a very tight bun while I exercise. I have to, otherwise it's just in my way (mind, my hair goes past my bottom...) But beyond that, I have no specific hair-concerns with working out.
  • What I want is a design that incorporates a lot of things that are very important to me and it will hopefully remind me of how far I've come whenever I see it (which may not be often, since I want it on my back, )
  • Right! *smacks forehead* And the sugar! Forgot that part. I generally make it at home with Splenda, so I forget.
  • I am considering my final goal reward will be a tattoo. I swore I'd never get one because I didn't want it to stretch out and look ugly... but if I'm committing to staying healthy...
  • 1 oz tapioca is 100 calories. 1 cup is 500 some, I think... The black tea is fine (it has caffeine, but still). Generally there's cream and milk in it as well, depending on the sort. Tapioca is just carbs, a bit of sugar, that's all.
  • I don't see why you couldn't. Just do it the healthy way and adopt healthy lifestyle changes that will help you maintain when you get there.
  • It could potentially help, I think. MFP is already building in a deficit for you, so you shouldn't have to make one of your own with exercise. The point of exercise is to be healthier and more fit, so eating back (in advance, in your case) some of the calories may be a good idea.
  • My weight made my periods first erratic, then widely spaced (every three months or so) then gone entirely, then constant. I think they may be back in line now. I hope. Maybe. We'll see.
