  • Nope, almond. I prefer not getting ill after having cereal, what can I say?
  • Make sure you're eating enough. If you're documenting everything you eat you may be starving yourself a bit (leaving 1800 calories on the table isn't a good thing), which is making your body hoard every bit of fat it has. Try eating healthy foods but getting closer to your goal calories.
  • Both. Though I am admittedly more of a cat person. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I would like a big dog, though. :)
  • I like bali style 3394 and olga style 35040 (from kohls, I think.) They have a wrapped underwire and no side wire to poke me. And when they're on sale they're like 15 dollars. Also, make sure you've got the right size... Too big in the cup and the underwire pokes me all damn day.

  • I step on the scale every morning, but only weigh officially every tuesday. Which is sad sometimes when I'm lower on, say, thursday, but I say whatever you're comfortable with. Daily flucuations don't depress me as much as they seem to bother others.
  • Minnesooootan (with a heavy neutral mask)

  • It certainly has helped me.
  • Too much of anything is a bad thing. That includes too much 'good' sugar.
  • Vanilla almond milk? It's thick and creamy, but super sweet. I don't know if it's any better for you, though. I only drink the unsweetened stuff (which is quite good in coffee, but not super-sweet). Although, honestly, I used to drink only SUPER-sweet coffee, now I do just fine with coffee and almond milk.
  • Haven't taken one yet. I have a starting photo, I just hadn't mustered up the gumption to take a comparison. Maybe I'm afraid I won't see anything.
  • Weigh yourself in the morning, after you empty your bladder/bowels. Don't weigh at night, you'll almost always weigh more at night. Your weigh goes up and down throughout the day. Don't freak out about it.
  • I would never have sex again my entire life and probably be perfectly happy.
  • I'm always a little disappointed to find someone whose weight loss has given me inspiration and hope is doing it in a very unhealthy fashion (starving themselves with too little food or too much exercise without eating anything back...).... I do this:  :noway: :frown:

  • Yep, 8 oz.
  • Thus far I've gone from a 42c to a 38d. Which is, proportionately, smaller... Despite the change to a d cup. (42c = 40d) but the smaller band makes me happy. :) Hopefully I will lose a bit more, lol. Though being a true hourglass would be nice,
  • TOM? Not getting enough water?
in gain? Comment by Forensic August 2011
  • It will stop when you get used to the amount you're taking in. :)
  • Keep in mind cereal is supposed to be PART of a balance breakfast. That means some fruit or juice, some protein (ie sausage, etc), it's not supposed to be the only calorie source to begin the day.
  • Calorie counting just isn't for some people. You have to be at the right place mentally to pick up the phone or pen or computer and input everything you ate. My friends tried a day and then gave up. Tried a day or two again... then gave up. Mostly because it was telling them to stop eating.
  • Fiber One or Fiber Plus tend to keep me satisfied, especially the ones with nuts (protein and fiber keep you full longer).
  • It's still edible, just a bit weird to eat. Similar to perming hair. It's still hair... just... different.
  • I glanced at your diary and can't help but wonder if you're eating enough. I notice you're often under 1000 calories, and you don't seem to eat very many exercise calories back. You don't document your water so it's hard to know if you're drinking enough of that.
  • I get that when I run too, though mainly just my 'ring' toe, on both feet.... DUnno what causes it, though, cause I get it on the treadmill too...
  • Soccer. Motorcross has no appeal for me whatsoever. Hate the noise it makes.
  • It does... in that Sugar and Sodium can both make you bloat or retain water if you eat too much of them, and fiber can have an effect also (generally if you eat too little) And eating too much fat just makes you feel nasty.
  • When I have to roll the waist to get them tight enough and then it looks like I'm wearing high-waters....
  • Losing my job got me started on losing weight. Heck, if I must be home and job hunting, might as well look awesome when I get an interview, right?
  • Aim for something without too many hidden ingredients (pasta is easy to hide extra butter and cream in, for example.) Everything will probably be less healthy than you'd prepare it, but you're allowed to enjoy yourself once in a while.
  • I'd probably do something like shirataki noodles, zuchini, and some sauce of choice, myself.
  • Perhaps try going up on your calories instead of down... Might kick start your metabolism.
