  • I love Glee!! I've decided my new catch phrase is "Kiss my a@* Josh Groban!". I'm going to work into everyday conversations. Sue has got to have some of the funniest comments on TV. She cracks me up!
  • I had that happen to me. It was a combination of low blood sugar and a vitamin d deficiency. Definitely get it checked out if it happens on a regular basis.
  • I bought it, got home, read the first few pages, got back in the car and drove to the store to return it. I prefer the Cook Yourself Thin, and the HungryGirl books.
  • My daughter and I watched the entire series, and I was shocked at how many preservatives and chemicals were added to the foods that they serve in the school cafeteria's. Definitely made me take a second look at what we were eating, and my daughter is now boycotting the school lunches until they make improvements.
  • I have the wii fit and since I got it at christmastime, I've lost a bunch of weight and inches. I rotate through the Wii fit plus games, the golds gym cardio boxing, and just dance. It definitely seems to be working for me, and the games make it feel like you're not really working out :)
  • There's a website and cookbook out there called "hungry girl" that has all kinds of single serving recipes for desserts and all of the ones that I've tried were great! Definitely worth looking in to!
  • I'm in the same boat here, so you've found another diet buddy! My reality check was going to the doctor 6 months ago and finding out that I have high blood pressure and seeing him write Obese on my chart. I'm 5'1 and 187 lbs and thought I didn't look too bad. Needless to day, I started watching what I ate, but not too…
  • Well, after falling off the wagon and being run over by it, I have a new incentive-my 20 year class reunion! I found out it's scheduled for the last weekend of June, 2009 and I want to look fantastic! So, I rolled out of bed bright and early, ate my whole grain cheerios with 1% organic milk (without adding a quarter cup of…
  • Funny thing is, I'm fine when I'm at home-I watch what I eat, I don't really snack, no soda, etc, but when I go to work, all bets are off. I work in a "food" office-everyone is always bringing things in and my desk is about 10 steps from the break room so every time someone cooks something, I smell it and want to eat. I…
  • So, I am having the hardest time staying motivated and sticking to my diet. In the last day and a half, I think I've gained back the last ten pounds that I've lost, and all I want to eat is garbage. How does anyone stick to eating healthier when cake tastes so good??
  • I've definitely thought of that. I don't want to do anything drastic because I have the mindset that I'm making healthier choices and not doing anything that I wouldn't be able to stick to after the challenge is over (ex. light or fat free mayo instead of regular mayo, light bread instead of regular bread, etc.) I know…
  • Ok, so I'm trying this again. A few months ago my work decided to do a biggest loser challenge. Being that I had already been instructed by my doctor that I needed to lose 35 lbs for health reasons, I decided to join in on the "fun". I lost about 10 lbs overall, but we took a 2 week break before our round 2 starts on…
