Not yet. She said it would be posted sometime today and she'd let us know here once it's up.

As someone who has been lactose intolerant since about the age of 10, I avoid milk like the plague (I can eat hard cheeses and some yogurt). With that said, I would much rather my children drink milk over juice due to the protein and calcium content. We mostly stick to water in our home though as far as beverages go.

If you don't have a major health issue (like diabetes for example) then you don't have to worry so much about macros. I personally try to stay within my macros as much as possible, but if I go over occasionally I don't worry about it. The only one I have a problem with is sodium in the summer months, because I swell easily…

Thanks for this reminder! I've had my worst month weight-loss-wise this month since starting on my weight loss journey in May, yet my pants are feeling a little looser and my thighs are looking a little less like cottage cheese (lol), so I know I'm making progress too, even if the scale doesn't show it.

We have the same problem right now. We made this a few days ago and liked it: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/206515/southern-baked-yellow-squash/?internalSource=hub%20recipe&referringContentType=Search

Ditto. I almost always have some type of 'treat' per day, as long as I'm in a calorie deficit. Today I'm having a small ice cream cone with my kids when I pick them up from school this afternoon to celebrate the end of the first week of the school year. I've already pre-logged my dinner for tonight so I know I can fit it…

My typical breakfast is 2 eggs (hard-boiled or scrambled) and 1 piece of whole wheat toast (with butter). It's pretty filling for me.

I also have 3 kids. We have a rule of one activity at a time per child. Right now my son isn't doing anything and my daughters have soccer (1 practice for each on a week night and 1 game for each on Saturday mornings). Thankfully, my son only does a couple of academic clubs at school through the year that aren't very time…

On to a new and better week!

I don't worry about natural sugars from fruits and veggies. I try to limit how much added sugar I eat most days (although I still enjoy a small soda once or twice per week and I have a piece of dark chocolate most evenings).
-
Well, I destroyed my teeth by my mid 20s because of drinking a couple sodas per day (well and not having adequate dental care in my teens and early 20s). Just be careful. Make sure you're brushing and flossing well and keeping up with dental checkups.

Eggplant is the only one that I've discovered I like recently. There's plenty that I eat as an adult that I wouldn't eat as a kid (green beans, spinach, cucumbers, zucchini, to name a few). Still don't like beets or turnips.
-
I usually hard boil a dozen eggs on Sunday night to have for breakfast all week. Two eggs and one piece of toast is my go to. Oatmeal (I typically mix in some blueberries) is quick and easy as well.

You look great! Happy 1 year of becoming a better you! :)

This is a rule I need to enforce on myself!
-
Stay within my calorie goal for the week. If I'm going to go over my goal for the day, I log the extra for the next day and force myself to stay under goal for that day. General rule for life: Choose kindness

I totally understand you! I've been the queen of excuses off and on for years too! If you want a friend to help keep you on track, feel free to add me. I find that a lot of the other people here help motivate me to stay on track. You've got this!
