if you're doing it full on and not feeling a burn, I'd either add heavier weights or move up a level, can't hurt to do level 2 twice then level 3, or even level 2 then level 3 twice.. some people build up doing level 1 followed by level 2 straight away too.. so it's up to you!

can I join 10 days in? I'll be repeating it as have a way to go.

I need to learn this motto... but the lbs of fat hit home too - my goodness I have lost 2 of the 20's. 2 more to go..

I love Davina on TV.. and her body is fantastic - she works really hard for her body and kudos for that. My sister has met her (she worked in the vets she brought her pets to) and said she is fab as a person.. so all of this would make me want to love her DVD's. BUT.. I love Gillian's no nonesense approach on biggest…

I'd go with this. I had a lower back tat imprint onto my car seat through a blouse - still has parts faded. Love your tat!

I'm another one for shock absorbers.. and in the UK. They have options for level of exercise so that helps you choose. There are a few other threads around here also along this lines so you may find other advice relevant to topic.

No experience personally but wanted to say good luck and well done to those losing post surgery. I have a friend heading for a full bypass - she has opted for this based on the fact no foreign body for body to 'accept' I don't know how valid her reason is as not researched anythin along this lines. Good luck whatever you…

I've added a protein meal bar, I've become intollerant to beans in the last couple of years (pain as I love beans), so veggies, eggs and quorn used. I'm not a lover of quorn (and hate tofu) so sometimes this phases out if I get sick of it. I love houmous but its sooo high in cals. Also love falafels which work well. It can…

can't get this link to work?

It's really hard to shift from watching weight decrease to watching inches or bodyfat. I do empathise. I have recently been asking the same questions but a trip to a body fat scales yesterday showed progress of 1kg drop even though I'd stayed the same on the 'normal' scale. so hold out hope - keep track of your inches and…

I'm only on day 10 today though I tried level 2 lightly last night (to see what it entailed). lol I have had a problem of 1200 cals not leading to weight loss but there is a lot of posts on the forum (food parts) about that not being enough if not eating calories back. It's a bit of a minefield of info and opinions though…

If you google / you tube body weight exercises you could easily make up circuits for use at home - jumping jacks, burpee's, push ups, crunches, sit ups, none of these need equipment and thats just off the top of my head. Also the 30 DS can be done without weights but you can add them - I'm 9 days into this and love it.…

I'd really like some kettlebells and some new workout clothes / trainers. With a valentines card. :) I know i'm not getting those but DH has planned a healthy meal (ok that excludes pudding but I can burn that in calories) at home so that it's not totally blowing the day out of the water. Also I know he has bought me…

Fantastic NSV!! Congrats on the size 10's!!

For me it was seeing my collarbones again... like old friends! Fitting into full length riding boots (english style riding). Seeing bags of shopping / groceries as 'good for your biceps'!
-
I need to do this.. it's starting to annoy me now getting in the way when I'm working out!
-
Wow!!! Did you lose much ? Keep to low carb / calorie eating plan? Amazing to see such differences, and the weights you pulled too - I was feeling good at adding 3kg to some of my level 1 day 8 workouts last night! Thanks for posting your progress it's great for inspiration.

Fantastic to read your positive vibes returning. funny how the body lays down and loses fat differently isn't it! I must admit my lower tum is a nightmare and to be honest my legs always remain 'big' I used to weight train before and had big legs, never can I get 'average' long boots. lol DH did mention this to me gently…

i read it years ago - along with skinny ***** in the kitch but honestly didn't like the tone or the limited diet / eating suggestions. that and the fact as a veggie I've become intolerant to beans it's gathering dust now.

Stacey ((HUGE HUGS)) firstly because you've done so well and this sounds like you're having awful wobbles. Also because the baggy skin is a fear of many of us. There are some great posts on strength training and tightening up bodies with muscle and some great successes of people being 'skinny fat' where the weight loss…

My apologies if it sounded 'snippy' it was a question; which you have now answered, as I couldn't understand with us having similar (I assume) training that you would be suggesting simply stopping his meds was ok. I did not have the time to read every post which is why my first response was as gentle as I could ask him to…

Day 9 for me today.. bit daunted about going up a level.. i've had day 10 in my head, so thats tomorrow!! OMG Bit alarmed to read it kills you! lol I'm pleased to say I'm down 0.9% body fat and thats 1kg less on the scales I weighed on. feels good because my bathroom scales still don't move! lol Anyway, onwards and upwards…

What a great thread and site, thanks for sharing. I'm just about coping with 30DS so don't want to put anymore strain on that but I'll have a look at this after as I'm also rubbish at push ups, I'm doing sets of 5 from my knees just now so lots to do! I used to be able to do upto 100 full ones happily (in my TA days). lol
-
Another one at 5'3" there are tons of us on here.. not a minority but we're special in all the right ways! lol
-
lol oh well looks like I'm alone in my 'challenge'. But today 5 days between checking my BF on a scales in a pharmacists. I'm down 1kg of body fat!! So fingers x'd I can really see great improvement by summer.
-
For those about to start.. I'm on day 9 today and daunted to move on, I weighed on a pharmacists scales for body fat 5 days ago and again today. Within 5 days I'm down 0.9% 1kg of body fat!!! no movement at all on my regular scales but that means I've swapped 1kg of bumpy lumpy fat for lean muscle! Bring it on Jillian!!

This would be my issue and the fact my 2 year old knows when I get up! lol I wait till she and her older sister are in bed (she's 7). My 12 year old goes on the exercise bike while I work out.. Then I go on after my work out. It works well and tonight she actually reminded me it was workout time! lol I would hate working…
