  • For me squats are legs, Deadlifts are back so with deadlifts goes lat pulls, rows, and assisted pull ups.

  • this is my method and I am losing (not overly rapidly but still down) and am changing shape.. firmer muscles, slightly bigger around the shoulders as didn't have any mass there before, strength gains, and clothes are loser and lots of 'you've lost loads of weight' comments. :)

  • Thought I'd answered this.. 100kg / 220lbs - but with a slight lock out issue of the hips - I held it for ages and tried but ended up laughing too much to get it done. Hope to get it clean soon. Clean would be 90kg / 198lbs

  • Hi, I've just done my first PL meet in the UK. it was 1 rep x 3 for the 3 lifts so 3x1 of squat, bench and deadlift. the best 3 go together to a total lift and that was my final score. We are divided by gender and then weight and age, so in my case I'm a 'master' as I'm over 40 and at 82.1kg was in the 82.5kg class..…
  • can you not still compete in the higher weight class or do the numbers not suffice then? there are some serously big blokes in our association but then they do lift a lot.. I'm fortunate from a womans point of view I guess there will only be me in my weight class unless I start competing with the GBPF.
