From Calgary and back at it after an extended absence!

Me too - trying to eat pretty clean and fairly low carb although I am not insane about it.

That is me too. I need to keep on the daily weigh ins or oe I relax too much and its 5 pounds to lose. I have 6 - 7 to go but they are going slowly ....

For the last three weeks I have been walking for an hour from 5 - 6 most mornings - sets me up for the day and I miss it when I skip it. I am not a morning girl but it is nice to know I have almost 9000 steps in before I start my workday!

I have 7 to go, maybe then I will set a new goal. I agree, it gets harder to maintain momentum.

I was in the same place - went back to school for two years and most of the 20 pounds I lost came back as I abandoned my good habits under the stress. Good news is I am back at it with a total of 15 pounds down and am confident the other five will follow. If you go back to what worked, you will have success again. You can…

Great progress - done in a healthy way too!

I am blessed to have to worry about how to watch my weight instead of wondering where my next meal will come from or how I will feed my family.

I have 7 until goal but will likely want to set a new goal right away - count me in!

That sounds like it would be a challenge! Try reframing your workout as time for you - do something you enjoy and make it a priority to give yourself that gift of time. Exercise is provides a good stress outlet for you to cope better - maybe look at combining that with something social for extra support like a walk with…

Remember you did say you were happy. Don't let the weight rob you of that. You are in a different place now but that doesn't mean that there was nothing good about the past. And there may be those looking back thinking "I wish I was as happy as she was". "Comparison is the thief of joy".

Little frittatas made in a muffin tin to grab and go. Protein bar with an apple. Grilled turkey or chicken wrapped in a mini pita pocket or lettuce leaves. I have fun with leftovers - no one said breakfast had to be "breakfast food".
-
I quick added calories that I knew would throw my macros way off.

Fiction - The Rosie Project and The Secret Keeper - both very good! Non-fiction The Market System - not so good

Interesting article on how decision fatigue leads to bad choices which may lead to obesity. The premise is that those experiencing poverty have to make a lot more decisions about where to spend their time and money and it wears you down to the point that you don't make good decisions about what to buy and what to eat..…

Hi from Calgary - I have been on for 6 months and am down 20 pounds - feel free to add me as a friend.

I prefer "median" to average. So much more refined. . .
-
I am also a curvy girl - I like Joe's jeans in "Honey" - no gap at the waist. They cost more but are worth it.

37?

Anyone can feel free to add me. I am on every day but chattier on some days than others.

I'm starting it again after completing it once. I was Anita and am striving to be Natalie. I didn't lose much weight but found new muscles and lost inches. No pictures as I switched phones and first to ake pics with me. I did it pretty much daily missing one or two a week depending on schedule.

How do I log the exercise for e "right" kind of nap?

There is a special circle of hell for people like this. I figure it will involve a never ending treadmill, starvation rations and scales and tape measures that only go up no matter what you do. And a whole audience of jeering spectators. And they are naked.

Sexy pixie!

People who use the term "ignorant" to mean rude instead of uninformed.
