  • I have lost 54 lbs and it has taken me a LONG time! I checked my BMI this morning on the MFP apps tab. My goal has been to go from the obese category to just overweight. I am currently only 4.4 lbs to being just overweight. Getting close!

  • I made 2 homemade, from-scratch pizzas today and salads to go with them.
  • You can eat a hot dog if you want. Just account for the calories and keep tabs on the number of calories you eat the rest of the day. Focus on eating more low calorie foods. Determine how many calories you will eat a day and stick to it. Exercise helps, too.

  • I add spinach to my salads during the week. If I don't use it all up by the time I get to shopping day, Saturday, then I cook what is left. I still am taking advantage of the vitamins and minerals of the spinach that way.
  • VARIETY! If you just eat the same things over and over again it will seem like a "diet", but we have such a great variety of healthy foods to eat, especially during the summer with different produce to eat. Enjoy them!

  • I can so relate to this, Fabricwoman. I had been using a knee band for my weak knee and a week or so ago I arrived at work and realized I had put my knee band on the wrong knee. It did not ache at all just felt something was strange. Losing weight really is making a difference. We are doing well!
