Today is 12/14/2021! Yes, I will join you in making a goal for Jan 1st. I will continue to work out 3 times a week for an hour and log all my meals on MyFitnessPal. I don't lose fast and I only have 17 days, so I will make my goal to lose 4 pounds. Goal will be 171.4

2 small pancakes and coffee. Chopped 1/2 a small apple added to the batter. Splurged and used 2 tablespoons of real maple syrup. Still reasonable in calories, though, 260 calories. Will have a big salad for lunch.

Yaya, Sargento ultra thin cheese is a good alternative. I think you would like it. It is sliced thin, not fat-free, but still low in calories, several flavors, and only about 35 or 40 calories. Cleo, I will try the butter spray and I like the garlic powder idea, too. I did not think about doing that. Thanks for your idea.

Planning my menu and shopping list for next week. Main dishes so far: Chicken Gumbo, Taco salad, and a Vegetable soup. Looking over the grocery ads to see what is on sale.

Got home late yesterday, so I cooked but very easy. I made two omelets, one for my husband and one for myself with 2 eggs for each of us and added a bit of shredded cheese, and chopped ham. I also used the microwave to cook corn and brussels sprouts. I love the Trader Joes Thai Red Curry sauce on the Brussels sprouts!
