Not a nurse, but I work 12+ a night in the ER...I bring a lunchbox full of little snacks I can at least put in my pocket and snack on the run. Protein is key.

nike combat compression shorts with a pair of basketball shorts...they are great for preventing chub rub (along with body glide). I don't go to the gym to look cute...I go to do work son!

First of all, quit caring what other ppl think and lose yourself in music I'm usually the biggest one when I'm out there pushing myself thru a half marathon...you'll find that some of the nicest and most encouraging people out there are runners. It gets easier...I promise: )

I work 7 on 7 off in the ER and my last 4 nights are always 14+ hours. Some mornings I can get in a short run after work...but other mornings I'm literally dragging myself home and into bed. Honestly...I would side with sleep because a shift on less than staller sleep sucks.
