  • Hi, If you post on here lots of resources for exercising in your home will be offered. I now have a similar problem where my work will cut into my gym time. Good luck.
  • I couldn't agree more and very well put!
  • Yes I never used to log my food. I just ate healthily and exercised, I was active with young children and healthy all round. Now I need to see WHY I am putting on weight (if being Hypothyroid with poor medication is NOT supposed to put weight on ), so I chose to log and it is interesting. Although my point hasn't been…
  • Hi, sounds like you're having a rough time, I hope you get the insurance sorted soon. I'm likely to think you have other issues than Hypo, there are definitely digestion, food issues here too. Your digestion isn't right and this could be the food - without seeing your detailed diary I can only go from what you have…
  • Keep on with it, I think it may be water too.
  • HI I'm new here, what an inspiration!! I have just joined a gym and feel I could never look like that! Well done.
  • Well I am new here and log in everyday for my food and exercise diary, I'm still learning my way around this site... but I'm not early 40's and now I suddenly feel old!! I'm 51 but going on 15 ... will that do? Lol!
  • Thanks for the encouragement, don't believe I am properly medicated but I'm on to it!

[/quote] Hello editgirl, Autoimmune / Hashi's is on my GP notes. I fought to be referred to one last year, she agreed my thyroxine was too…
  • Hi Dietcoke, not sure how all this messaging works yet so hope you get this. My problem is still not sorted in my opinion otherwise I wouldn't be ill as I am, it;s not just about the weight for me although it is obviously linked to other aspects of your health. My thyroid is deteriorating as per the Consultant last year…
  • Thanks for this. I do believe my condition is NOT treated properly yet... but I am determined to make a difference despite. That's why I'm here. I just have to try much harder than others lucky enough to have GPs that get it.
  • Hi! Hmmm proper treatment you say? Glad you are well with it all.
  • My first day too! I have been doing so well on my own, not been too well today and ended up eating over. Just read some comments below and quite like the one about not slashing the other 3 tyres. ;) Let's both get back on track tomorrow.
