Size/weight/shape doens't matter between the brands. You could be in two different types of shoes: minimal vs maximal, 12mm drop vs 0mm drop, stability vs neutral What Nikes were you in? ETA: I hope you were given a deal on the Cumulus 16 as there is a newer model out so places should be reducing their price to clear out…

Chobani plain is disgusting. Cabot Greek plain is even worse and I <3 Cabot cheese, butter, and cottage cheese.

The bolded section is a really stupid thing to suggest without knowing the OP and their capabilities. I gain nothing by running with the pain in my leg, except more pain and damage. Pain is the body's way of saying "slow the *kitten* down" Muscle soreness is a different beast and can be worked through. Pain shouldn't.

See a doctor not an Internet forum

Buy a sturdier crpsstraining sneaker instead of a minimal, flexible running shoe

For plain greek yogurt: Fage 2% For plain yogurt: Green Mountain Creamery

I'd practice at home with a broom to get the form right, film yourself and you can post it here for others to check. Or hire a trainer but trainers can be dodgy
-
Use free weights not the machines. trainers aren't necessary and so many are *kitten* trainers anyway. Find a full body beginners routine like stronglifts, new rules of lifting for women
-
Look up New rules of lifting for women, stronglifts 5x5, strong curves, Nia shanks beautiful badass
-
Stop running and get to a doctor.

Tell her to cut tell *kitten*. That it's not appreciated and a pathetic attempt on her to try to bring you down

Cosign. I highly recommend reading New rules of lifting yet follow Stronglifts. SL is a much simpler program and less fussy than NROLFW. The info in NROLFW is great but I don't like how complicated the program is. Strong curves is a great book as well, I own it but haven't run the program. I reference it all the time

The machines are doing some of the stabilizing for you, robbing you of the benefits. Using free weights will strengthen the stabilizer muscles and help you in dance and running. And certain machines also force you into an unnatural pattern of movement.

Also, with 12 lbs to go, you shouldn't have a 2lb/week deficit. Which I know you selected since you're eating at 1200 calories and I start with similar stats. Adjust your expectations and calorie goal to 0.5#/week

Nerd fitness beginner bodyweight routine, made more difficult with your dumbbells

Honestly, since you're still losing, I wouldn't go to the Gap. 70$ jeans. I'd hit up a consignment shop or TJ Maxx/Marshalls
-
It really doesnt. It, and its sister stores, run very inconsistent. I've ordered thesame pants on the same size, in different colors, all fit different. some days I'm a 2 there, some days I'm a 6.
-
Back away from the machines and get some free weights. you'll have far better results with free weights
-
That's not a plateau. weight loss isn't linear and isn't going to happen every week.

That teenager is a moron for continuing her activities. She's lengthening the healing process Ive got injuries and as much as I wanna run, the pain at the end of the day isn't worth it. I'd discuss this with your PT since they know the status of your shoulder. I wouldn't push it personally.

MWF: lift TThSa: dedicated cardio - supposed to be cycling. this week it's been sleep & walks lol Su: walking & yoga. I also walk almost daily and try to do yoga daily for my injury.
