measure your ankle, you may be able to wear it there.

Stay at/under your calorie goal and you won't gain weight

I'm not a bad *kitten* but I have a fab *kitten*, does that count? Plus, cats

Is there a tl;dr version that also explains why everything is bold and italicized?

He's very fond of generalizations so I'd ignore him since the information entered into any cardio machine varies between manufacturers and productions years and price points.

Eating a deficit, cutting weight

Never seen gender. And once again, those are overestimates and not accurate. If you want a better estimate of calories burned then a HRM is your best bet but it's only good for steady state cardio.
-
Again, you can't make a blank statement like that. a woman who is 5ft isn't gonna burn that and a severely obese man would probably burn way more. You clearly can't read where I stated that men and women don't burn the same calories for the same exercise and machines and apps overestimate.

I don't eat anything until noon since I've found that way of eating to work better for me. That said, I wouldn't suggest cereal as for most people, it isn't very filling and the full feeling is short lived. Oatmeal has a higher fiber content and will keep you going. You could make overnight oats with greek yogurt for more…
-
No it doesnt. You can't throw out a blank number like that. It might for you but if you're basing that off the display or the MFP database, those are both overestimated. Calories burned for a particular activity will vary so much. Especially between genders.

Plain greek yogurt, plain cottage cheese. higher fat content will be higher protein (ish) and lower carb typically. And will help with satiety better than a 0%.

There's no need to walk in a treadmill for an hour. that's just *kitten* torture

Reevaluate your goals, they may be too aggressive.

Motivate yourself.

You can start running when the doc says you can. I don't think you'll have to start c25k over but you won't be running the same distance at the same speed when you're cleared to run. Last night was my first run in almost 3 months due to a fractured fibula. I averaged 11:55/mi for my 2 mi run, prior to my break I was…

As I said in my PM to you, go to a doctor for a diagnosis and prescription for rehab.

depending on the squat rack, you might be able to bench in there. depends if you can get the safeties down the the right height and the bar pins down as well.
-
You can use a squat rack for squats and OHP. Is there a station for bench? Space for rows and deadlifts? If so, you're golden.

Why do you want to maintain such a low weight/BMI?

Please provide scientific proof that GMOs are harmful. You're concerned about GMOs yet are eating Arctic Zero and Monster Zero which are both all chemicals. GMOs are plants with some human help. Arctic Zero is frozen cardboard sadness

I hate the elliptical. I'd rather 20 minutes on the stairmaster than 5 on the elliptical.

you can enter your own exercise into the database if it bothers you. but a 2.5mph is, on average, a slow walk. I walk fast compared to most people and thus have to slow down, I've noticed an average, comfortable walking pace is around 3.0-3.3mph. Which makes me stabby.

At least for Quest bars, you can request a sample pack from them. You may be able to do the same for the powder... I moved after requesting my Quest bar sample (though I've tried every flavor except the new mint one) so I've never gotten mine lol

I do cardio. Walk almost daily, try to incorporate yoga, I cycle, hike, ski, run (sorta). I like it. So I do it.
-
Dude, if Francl won't mind, I'll talk about the yoga DVDs I've found lol OH! I forgot, on a whim I got taffy from Trader Joes. Not terrible. I prefer fresh, handmade peanut taffy but their fruity flavors aren't bad
-
As a perpetually broken runner, definitely A. I'm find lots of joy in walking, yoga, and cycling these days. The drivers are less scary in the morning than they are after work for cycling.

This is the food & nutrition forum and thus, this thread is about food. I've been looking for the new oreos, might have to pop into Target. I've noticed that my grocery stores don't have s'moreos or the reese's ones.

*kitten*... necro'd.

One name comes to mind on e-fornication. It depends on the user honestly.

I wouldn't suggest a split routine to a beginner. A 3 times a week full body routine is designed for a beginner. Like Stronglifts 5x5, Strong Curves, New Rules of Lifting.
