  • @bananasandoranges Yah, the WW "free" food concept never say well with. Me, either. Heal up quickly! *hugs*
  • Success/Struggles: odd Full time shift (12pm to 8pm) means trying to fit 16:8 IF into weird week day eating schedule- especially since eating heavy meal too late in the day brings back my acid reflux. Trying to find some balance is difficult right now. The hunger demons and light night snack demons are nipping at my heals…
  • @sofchak What about making egg white cups in muffin tins, then freezing until you need them? Also, peanut butter yogurt can be made the night before. I am thrilled for you over the job update! Enjoy!!

  • @LivingtheLeanDream Ruth it is definitely woo for weight loss, but is it also woo for GERD? Some folks seem to think it helps, but I am not sure I would be one of them or not. (It is telling that I would rather drink vinegar than give up my acid reflux trigger foods, tho!)

  • @HarperAnn6 So sorry you were ill, but glad to hear that you are on the mend!
  • Pick up something at a store or restaurant, single serving, of the right calorie amount. I understand your fears. I have been bingeing a lot of late, but part of it has been being a bit too low in weight and highly active. Self-preservation has kicked in. Just do your best to balance your calories and care for yourself,…
  • @kgirlhart I have the same regret! Could have done dance classes or some serious long trail backpacking when I was younger and less arthritic. Now, I am at the top of the hill and looking downward. Depressing to think that things will just get worse and more limiting from here on out.
  • Black bean brownies are brilliant, so I am sure chocolate hummus is delish!
  • Stonefire naan topped with cheese of your choice. Yum! https://www.stonefire.com/
  • @xbowhunter Congrats on entering maintenance!

  • @Faebert Same issues here. I have binge-gained a couple of pounds back. I hate seeing my stomach roll filling out, but I have to admit that my face looks better.

  • @fidangul I am so very glad you are coming out of it! I hope to join you soon, as my bingeing has been giving me grief for a few weeks.
  • @laura9503 I hear all that! I have colitis and go through the same kinds of issues, except for the downward weight trends. I always manage to outeat the bowel issues. (You would think it would stop me from eating, but no. The compulsion has always been stronger.)

  • I hated my machine. Mask hurt so much and woke me almost as often as the apnea. Sooooo glad to be off of it!
  • So sorry you are dealing with this. Hubby has it. He just is as active as he can be on good days and rests as needed. He hasn't really modified workouts because of it. Have you checked in with your doc about this?
  • I wear my hiking gear. Compression leggings and whatever breathable top layer is appropriate. I never use cotton, though, as it doesn't wick moisture away and I don't want to be damp or chafed.
  • @bananasandoranges Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. Yes, mindfulness is a tough one, as is compassion for myself! Early on in my journey, I stumbled across a phrase that I wrote out and stuck on my fridge. "Treat each day as a blessing and it will feel like one." Hard to follow, especially when my…
  • @Faebert Oh, yes. Baby anythings are a time-consuming, albeit darling, lot! :)
  • @Gutcutter500 I love that this is a family thing!
  • @hesn92 Losing the same few pounds over and over seems to be what constitutes maintenance for an awful lot of people. You are doing great! :)
